βSo I own a Suzuki Boulevard motorcycle. Is the 2024 C50 model, that hasn't been changed in over a decade. no frills, no tech, just pure motorcycle.
However, I lost the primary key that came with it when I purchased it new from Riva Motorsports.
So like any other motorcycle enthusiast, I belong to a Suzuki Volusia 800 forum on the internet. For the last 10 to 15 years, everyone has been recommending Ace Hardware. Because they do things that the big box Chains Don't Do, and that's called personal heartfelt service.
β Meaning that they don't have to do it, but they do it to make the customer happy. And that's why I am thrilled with this Dixie Ace Hardware. I'm not going to mention any names, but I went to 2 other Ace Hardware stores in Miami and they were not that helpful.
?But this particular location was definitely helpful. Although they could not duplicate my key for me (no proper blanks) , I have blanks coming in and I just have to take the blanks to them and they will go ahead and duplicate the current key that I have. ? That's called going above and beyond and that's why from now on I'll do all my shopping at Dixie Ace Hardware.
I wasn't even aware that Ace Hardware was still around, until I started inquiring about getting a duplicate key for my Suzuki motorcycle. This place is huge. It's like a labyrinth. I feel sorry for any firefighter that has to respond here for a false alarm or God forbid a commercial structure fire. Since I'm retired from the fire department, that's the first thing I noticed when I walked in. The small little Labyrinth walkways throughout this very big store, sort of gave me an eerie sensation of the dolphin carpet fire in which we lost Lieutenant Dewey Henry back in 1998. Anyways, I highly recommend this store, they have EVERYTHING that Home Depot has and then some.
I was at Home Depot a few weeks ago and I never received personalized service and care like I did here at this Dixie Ace Hardware.
So kudos to you management ?. By the way, they have freeze dried candy here! I had to purchase some on my way out, because I'm growing addicted to this stuff. Must watch my blood sugar! I'll be back in a couple of days with the key blanks so they can give me my duplicate motorcycle key, and this time I'll definitely have a Samsung Galaxy smart tag attached to it. That's funny, I always had a smart tag attached to the second key, but I never had it attached to the primary key that I use on my motorcycle. If you guys are looking for personalized and quick service, which you do not get at Home Depot anymore, (I can personally vouch for that) , then please try Dixie Ace Hardware, I give them ????? stars, and will be updating this review in the next week or so. ?β
βEmployees always willing to help with things like warranty. Good selection of tools. I recommend coming with the exact amount of money you intend on spending, because if not, you'll definitely end up leaving with 20 things you didn't even plan on buying. Love this placeβ
βAs a commercial contractor for 40 years I have used numerous truss suppliers over the southeast. Having been in Florida for the last 15 years I have used Deco on multiple projects. One of which was what I believe is the largest wooden truss roof in Key West. They did an excellent job on a tough project. They have been accurate and produce a good competitive product. Major Jr. is keeping up with his fathers traditions.β

βKnowledgeable and completely patient in looking for a metric screw which I couldnβt find anywhere . Phil the manager is a walking encyclopedia and knows his store inside out .You will never find this type of personal experience in a big chain store .β

βIβd like to give a big shout-out to VPS Tire Repair for the fantastic job they did in my garage. They installed a two-post lift and a spring compressor for me, and the entire service was absolutely perfect! If you need this kind of equipment installed, I can totally recommend them!β

βThe BEST place to rent tool!. We had an issue with the equipment (no fault of Delta's), and they were quick to assist us twice in remedying the problems we faced. Any other place would have tried to blame the issue on us, but they did not give us a hard time at all. Really nice to find honest folks these days, especially in this kind of industry. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and considerate. I have nothing but great things to say about Mike and Steven who were both incredibly helpful.β
βAbel and Duglen Are both awesome. Excellent customer service. These guys will help you with whatever you need no issues at all. I drove all the way from Pembroke Pines just to come to the store because I love the way. The staff helps with whatever questions or purchases I need.β
βI have been coming here since 1993. Always the same owners, same wanting to help attitude. They always answers your questions with the best answer, they know about plumbing, electrical etc. the best part is that they have everything and close to home.β

βI want to take this time and thank Julio from Florida Lumber on NW 27th. He took his time and listened to what I needed. Plus he provided great customer service. On top of that he gave me the best price on the Tongue and Groove material I needed for my project. I recommend everyone go to Florida Lumber and forget about these big box lumbers or these other high priced lumbers with no customer service.β

βAfter going to several Ace Hardware's in the area, I finally went to the one in Cutler Bay I wasn't very impressed with this one. It's a smaller store, and the people could not help me with making a copy of my motorcycle key.β
