Wawa was going to be on the way home and he suggested that we drop by there to get some air in the tire bc they offer free air service. We did drop by and filled our soft tire with some air and went home. Wawa gets 5 stars from me if only for this convenient and free service to the public.”

“I love a turnpike rest stop with it's mall like atmosphere as opposed to a I-95 stop which is strictly vending machines. This rest area has both north and south bound exits. It is located at mile 65 on the Turnpike in Pompano Beach, Florida.Even though I pass by this rest stop all the time I have never needed to come in but I have always been curious about it. I was on the road and thought my tire was low so I finally took the opportunity to stop and look around. The first thing that struck me was how tiny this rest area is. I don't think it is even a quarter of the size of the one at Port St. Lucie/ Ft. Pierce. Even though it is small they still managed to fit in one of those plastic blue flame fountains. Dining options include Dunkin' Donuts, Wendy's, and Pizza Hut. There is also a Main Street Market where you can pick up snacks, drinks, and road travel essentials. I wonder why Pompano got such a small rest stop. To its benefit, unlike the larger ones north you can park against the building and you don't have to go football field lengths to reach the restroom. I loved that the Citgo offers free water and air and they have a drive through windshield cleaner. The Pompano rest area might be small but it has what you need, food and fuel, to get you back on the road.”

“During these hard times of price gouging and inflation, this station which goes by the name Murphy's Oil (Previously Weststar), usually has prices 10 to 35 cents cheaper per gallon, than everyone else. Thank you for not ripping off the community that you serve. It's hard to see this place from the main road though. Gotta look for Burger King to know that I am near.”

“TV shopping time. Went with a friend who was also in the market-visited Bestbuy, BJs and Costco Leighton at Costco was awesome! The quality of service he provided was amazing. Unfortunately only one of the models we had decided on was in stock (at the store)... so we ended up purchasing both at BJs at a comparable price... but without any sign of customer service So--if in the market for a tv and you also need some good advice, check first with Leighton at Costco/pompano for true quality customer service!”

“I always try to go to this station to fill up. I have a Mobil rewards card, and this station is close to where I live, is clean, and always has a lower price than many other stations, Mobil or otherwise. In fact, after my last visit, I saw that they were 10 cents less than the Racetrac a couple of miles away. I rarely have a problem with any of the pumps not working or not accepting my credit card. They have a car wash for $3.99, which works really well. The station has windshield cleaners and even paper towels! I don't go inside the little store, so I can't make a comment about it. All in all, a good station to go to.”
“During the fuel drought we have going on in Southern florida this “Marathon Station “ was the only gas station ⛽️ with fuel. They restricted purchases to $20.00 of premium grade only. “Wish it would be possible to speak to a representative instead of calling and automatically put on hold and you wait and wait but no one picks up you are just left on hold. When you call back again and try for another department in the hope they can transfer to a front desk Representative but that does not work they put you on automatic hold. You call again and try "administrative " but same deal no one picks up and phone just keep ringing. Great store, great product selections, great prizes but not great customer service!”
