Southern hospitality at its finest. No expectations of patrons. Just come enjoy some great food and great conversation. The young man jamming on the front porch was a true gentlemen and a pleasure to talk with. I will keep coming back to Skully’s every single time I’m visiting. The experience of visiting Skully’s has been a highlight of my trip to the Cape.

It's a cafeteria style service, with plates that include entrees of the day, 2 sides, bread and a drink at great prices. You can also choose just an entree without sides as well. Our group had shrimp and grits, blackened mahi, the beef meatloaf and cube steak. The cabbage and beans were cooked perfectly, and the Mexican cornbread, very tasty. There is also a breakfast served in a similar style. Portions were generous and drinks were refillable. We haven't seen quality food at these prices in Port St. Joe!

Shoutout to Donna, our server, who didn’t miss a thing and looked after us like we’re regular customers and this was our first visit. The bruschetta and chicken meatballs were so good, the tomato sauce was very fresh tasting. We really enjoyed the tomato relish to spread on bruschetta (the toasted bread was AMAZING!!). Our pizza was very very good. Best pizza since moving to Florida over three years ago. We had access to very good pizza in Seattle area and today’s visit to Joe Mamma’s was no different. Very very tasty, the dough so good and the sausage tasted homemade. The carmelized onions were perfection. Look forward to returning next year on our annual pilgrimage to the area.

Our group included locals, former locals and family of locals, so we're a bit judgy on the "new" places but had really good service and really enjoyed our food overall. The shrimp and Mahi tacos were especially both good, with a healthy portion of them well seasoned and not overcooked. Pricing still felt a bit high, but that's to be expected.
