The getting ready suites were spacious and set the perfect tone for a calm, joy-filled morning, and the entire day flowed so smoothly. “Clean, attractive venue. Easy to find your way around. Decent selection of vendors without being overwhelming. We had somewhere comfortable to sit and wait for the rest of our party to arrive. After looking around at the different seats, I feel like there isn't really much concern about ending up with bad seats. Everything sounded great. Overall, quite a good first experience with this location for me.”

“What can I say? Other than WOW!! Historic Palm Lodge is a breathtaking venue. But what makes it extraordinary is the people that run it. Elizabeth and her team have this property prepared to successfully execute any and every event. From all of the meticulously curated decor and antiques on site to the restoration of the house and flora on the property. This place has an Old Florida energy and even feels like you’re in the FL Keys sometimes.

“This library is great. Very quiet, has a separate section for children, clean bathrooms, and the staff is very helpful. Parking is adequate and has never been an issue finding an open spot. They will order books of they do not have it in stock.

“I was so happy to have planned my quinceañera at hacienda los robles! It was genuinely the best possible choice i could have made. I started planning back in september and Belkis was nothing but helpful. With every new question we had and every obstacle, she made it possible for me to have an unforgettable day. The decoration was absolutely stunning! Her vendors are the best we could’ve had. Abel was an absolute angel. I could not have had such a beautiful day without him. Belkis and Abel handled everything with patience and care. Until the last minute when we rushing, they calmed our nerves. The food was great! Guests were very happy with the taste. Although portions were a bit on the smaller side which I understood due to having to feed many people. The DJ could have been a bit better, I felt the music was at a low volume but I simply requested for it to be turned up and problem fixed. The appetizers were delicious , guests were very satisfied. The saxophone was the best touch. I am truly so thankful to Belkis and her team for making it such a memorable experience and setting for nothing less than perfection, elegance, and beauty.”

“I love this place, wish they had more stuff to do for doggies, maybe a dog park would be nice? I really like to come here with my dog when they have dog friendly days. Doesn’t have to be huge but a small area for dogs to run around would really elevate the experience, and us dog ppl are rlly passionate so you will def get our money!”

Unfortunately it was rainy most of the day when we were photographing there, but even with a back up rain plan, it could not have been more beautiful!The owner even opened up her house for some beautiful staircase photos! “We had such a great time visiting the Gold Coast Railroad Museum, especially the tour of the presidential railcar that was used before Air Force One became the standard for presidential travel. It’s honestly such a cool piece of history to experience in person standing inside the actual train car used by U.S. presidents felt surreal in the most wonderfully nerdy way possible. Humanity really said, “What if the Oval Office… but bumpy?”

Our tour guide, Chase, made the experience even better. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and fun, and you could tell he genuinely loves sharing the history behind everything there. He brought the stories to life in a way that made the whole tour engaging from start to finish.

The museum also has a large collection of other trains and railroad artifacts to explore. Some areas could definitely use more maintenance and restoration, but honestly, that’s exactly why places like this deserve more support and visitors. Smaller museums with unique historical value need funding and community interest to keep preserving these amazing pieces of history for future generations.

Overall, we loved our visit and would absolutely recommend it to anyone interested in trains, history, or just doing something different and memorable in Miami. Go support your local train nerds. They are carrying the emotional burden of American transportation history on their backs.”

“We love the Little Farm. We go about twice a year, and always have such a fun time! It is perfect for kids aged 2-10.

We love the petting zoo, pony rides, and the fact that you can get up close and personal with different types of farm animals.

This year we went for the Easter celebration and it was perfect! Not too many kids, so everyone got personal time with the Easter Bunny and sufficient eggs during the Easter egg hunt.”

“The physical structure of this Courtyard is nice and clean, but what really sets it apart is the staff. This is like experiencing a Ritz Carlton staff at a Courtyard. Nour Asouti was so kind and proactive. There was a storm and the hotel lost power. Unfortunately I had just been to the grocery and had to walk five flights of stairs with a lot of groceries. Housekeeping ladies were at the other end of the hall and saw me and literally RAN down the hall to help me with a flashlight and to get my groceries in. Obviously the staff has good communication because they told Nour what happened. He reached out to me to apologize and gave me points for the trouble. It wasn't anyone's fault that the power was out but they were so kind with their genuine concern. Also, my friend left an expensive medication in her fridge upon checkout and the hotel stored it for a week until she could return to get it. Every single interaction with staff would make the owners proud!!”

If you’re into cars, this meet at Villa Turquesa is one of those low-key gems that’s worth the drive.

Great location in Homestead, easy to get in and out, and a solid mix of builds—from clean daily drivers to properly built projects. The vibe is chill, no drama, just people enjoying cars and talking setups.

Good coffee, relaxed atmosphere, and enough space to actually walk around and check out the cars without feeling packed like other meets.

Perfect Sunday stop if you want something more laid back but still with quality cars.

“We love out here! My family has been twice so far with plans to return. The owners were polite and everything was clear. Bring your own floaties and wear water shoes.”

“After we checked in, I had an issue in the room and called the front desk. They took immediate action as busy as they were to take care of the issue. They moved us to another room and made sure we were good to go. I have never seen the front desk or maintenance move as fast as they did!! We are grateful and look forward to coming again! Thank you to all the staff!! Rooms are super clean! We did book a suite with a kitchen. They have pots and crock pots if you need them. Laundry is free. I recommend that anyone stay here.”

“Absolutely loved it. I missed the ice rink so much, and this was a great and inexpensive way to skate. The public rink was quite packed but still very large. Great atmosphere, kind staff, overall great experience! I had lots of fun with my friends”

“The place is good, music is a big thing to me when it comes to roller skating. I can’t bring head phones cause they can fall of my head but if I can I would. The dj just plays a lot of rap and I’m aware you can request songs but I can only request so little out of all the songs there’s in the queue, the dj always puts rap music, and nothing wrong with that it just looses the real vibe that roller skating has, I always put to request 80s music because it has the best rhythm but he always puts my song for less than one minute and all the other songs for a longer time, especially the rap songs, and I do like rap music but to skate it really isn’t dandy, this is my opinion at the end of the day. But over all it’s not a bad place.”
