“An old school neighborhood store like back in the day with the store in the front and home in the back. Mrs.Brown has watched generations of families grow up! She has spent her entire life running this store ONLY leaving to go to church or to doctors appointments out of love NOT profit ! If it weren't for her MANY families in the community would have went hungry!! If you were to add up ALL the tabs for credit where she has allowed people to get groceries and pay later she would be a millionaire! Tabs going back decades that will NEVER be repaid! ALL the money made goes right back into paying delivery companies to keep the selves stocked and paying for HUGE electric bills and repair costs to keep the freezers running! Generations after generations have made the pilgrimage back to visit her over the years and to introduce her to the next generation to grow up visiting *Browns Grocery*! Where customers AREN'T customers they are FAMILY!”

“I'm always shopping here picking up more than I come for. The customer service is good and the sales are wonderful. Especially if you have the app. It's a one stop shop. I'm always satisfied when leaving the store.”

“Convenient store operated by a nice family. It's almost your one stop shop for emergency pick up. I usually stop by here at least 3 or 4 times out the week.”

“This is an older style Winn-Dixie located in a shopping plaza that has definitely seen better days. However, they have good specials and I'm very impressed that Winn-Dixie has made a comeback and are offering better quality beef and generally just a better all-around experience.Winn-Dixie was a great supermarket when I first moved to Florida back in 2001. Something happened over the course of time and Winn-Dixie became pretty abysmal. The quality slipped overall and perhaps the saddest slip in quality came from their meat department. For a supermarket that once proudly considered themselves the "Beef People," Winn-Dixie allowed the quality of their before to slip drastically and they were basically offering inferior meat that was only USDA inspected and not graded. Winn-Dixie realized the error of their ways and now have a focus on their USDA Choice grade meat. The staff at this location was friendly and while the location might be a bit worn, the staff is friendly and the quality is definitely there.”

“Fantastic selection, good prices and the staff is super knowledgeable about everything in the store. Have found new delicious cuts I never knew existed as well as easy access to all our favorites. Great addition to the neighborhood and worth the trip if you're thinking about it.”

“Would give 5 stars but lumper fee increased because now they separate items into multiple skids and charge us instead of telling the shipper how product should be divided on each pallet. Upside is drivers can unload themselves to avoid fee.”

“Speaking for me. I know everyone has different experiences. But for me it's a nice clean store. Most of the staff is helpful. Most of the times you can find what you're looking for. Lines are not always long. And having a shopping cart to shop with is a plus. Had a bad experience at another wal mart. No carts and it's like the most of the time but not here. Overall a pretty great shopping experience”

“This Wal Mart might be closer to my Tallahassee house than the West Tennessee Street location. It can be hard to find since there are trees and other businesses that obstruct the view of the sign and building. As a typical Wal Mart, I find this location to be OK overall with a friendly staff and tidy inventory. There is a Murphy gas station in the front parking lot as an added benefit.”
