“I was here at the Hilton today for an event we had and the employee's were very polite and respectful, gave clear instructions where to go. The event room was clean and well set up for what we needed it for. Although I was not here to stay in a room, the place itself was clean and very elegant. I do recommend coming here.”
“Right across the street from Bern's Steakhouse and in the heart of Hyde Park. Great location if you aren't planning on going out to Tampa. Room was beautifully decorated and the bed super comfortable. Maybe bigger pillows is the only issue I found.”

“Stayed for a week while my wife was attending a conference. The hotel is clean, spacious and the pool area is great. The real highlight of this hotel for me was Carl Fuller in the concierge room. He had helpful suggestions about activities all week. Helped me find good places to eat and fun places to explore.We will be back for the conference next year, looking forward to the golf course reccomendations Carl gave me.”
“Alicia, can clean a bathroom. That was the best smelling women’s bathroom in all of Tampa. I walked in and you can tell she took her time moping and cleaning and everything was to a t, strange review but, sometimes is the little things that make a hotel, and she was working hard.”

“The hotel itself was clean and everyone was nice. However, the rooms have those hotel thin walls and you can bear everything and everyone! The breakfast was good!!! I dislike hotel breakfast as most of the time the items are old or cheap, but their breakfast was rather good. The pillows were not very comfortable, and the bed was just ok.”

“It has all the level of quality I've come to expect from a Hampton Inn however... The reason we chose this location over others is because they offered an electric charging station.When we arrived (mid-rain as expected in Tampa) the only charging station plug (Tesla) was in need of repair as it had exposed wires and the cable itself was resting in about an inch of water. One would expect it to be in better condition if it's the only charger on site.Update: After my initial posting with photos the on-site staff came out that evening and repaired the charger to the best of anyone's ability. Earned the extra gold star from my original 4/5.”

“We booked this for the night before our cruise. Everything was great. We walked to our restaurant from there that night. We ate there the next morning. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. My husband pigged out!! We left our vehicle in their immediate parking garage while we were on our cruise. Really great place!!! Super convenient too! I will definitely be back.”

“I did not officially stay here, I unfortunately had car issues and had to pull into parking lot and wait for a tow. I walked in front lobby to advise front desk and apologize. Tee was amazing with her smile and attitude even though I was not staying she was so nice and helpful (even kept eye on car when I was gone) if I was needing to stay anywhere I would pick there because of her and her amazing service.”
“I have to say the best thing about the hotel was the staff at the front desk. They were always amazingly helpful and made the trip and my business experience a breeze. They have a good location for downtown business trips as well as easy parking and access to everything you need. They don't have much of a weight room or a business center but they make up for it with a nice lobby area and areas to converse with colleagues. The rooms are a bit outdated but well finished and kept clean. They'll clean your bed daily changing out all of your sheets and beddings and towels which I enjoy especially in business trips. It seems like a lot of hotels have gone to not changing your bedding or cleaning your room as often as most people might like. They have a nice selection of books you can read while staying at the hotel as well as lots of free candy in the lobby. The pool is nice it's open from 10:00 a.m. until the sunset and it's not heated so get ready for a cool plunge. Easy access for running on the Riverwalk and easy access to downtown or the convention center either driving or walking. they have lots of cable channels and a big screen TV in each room in the internet speed was plenty fast to do my work. They have a restaurant and bar on site they're open from early in the morning until late at night and they're pretty willing to turn on sports or what you want to watch. I would stay here again on a business trip the staff really made it worthwhile.”

“This stay was my first time in Ybor City, and it is a fascinating place. The neighborhood harbors a rooster and chicken colony, protected by city ordinance, and they crow in the morning and strut around the hotel’s parking lot. Given how urban the surroundings are, the roosters are an endearing novelty.Ybor is a bit outside downtown Tampa, but this hotel is a walkable two blocks to a station on Tampa’s free TECO streetcar system. So it is easy to park your car in the hotel lot ($25/day for guests) and train into town. The trip is ~20 minutes to the Tampa Convention Center and another endearing novelty of the location.The hotel itself was clean and quiet. My room was larger than expected. I think they upgraded me to a suite since the place was otherwise full. The staff were kind and accommodating, available to answer questions about the surrounds and how to trolley into Tampa. I got in late, after 11pm, and there were two helpful staff at the from desk.I usually stay at places with complimentary breakfast, which Hilton Gardens does not offer. However, there was an ample supply of grab-and-go fruit and a coffee/tea station which got me through to lunch. For those wising to sit down, the lobby converts to a restaurant in the mornings billed separately from the hotel stay.My only complaint, which I’m not the hotel’s fault, is Ybor became a bit seedy after dark. Outside a convenience store about 2 blocks from the hotel at about 10pm, I was propositioned by a guy who wanted to sell me his pants - the ones he was wearing - for $25. I told him I wasn’t interested, and the ended the encounter, but I do feel like tourists have to be on guard in the neighborhoods around the hotel at night. The Hilton Garden Inn itself felt very safe and well monitored.”

“This is my "go-to" hotel when I work in Tampa. It is like a mini resort with a nice pool area and an adjoining Latin restaurant with good food. It's near I-75 and very convenient.I have been staying here since 2007 and it has only got better with the renovation a few years ago. The rooms are spacious and clean. The water pressure and a/c are great. They did not cut corners on the reno.What really sets this location apart is that one is greeted by attractive, professional and competent women at the front desk who allow early access without any problem. It is very much appreciated since my schedule is different than most. Keep up the good work ladies!”

Rooms are a little outdated but they were very clean. If I ever had to stay in brandon again I would stay here for the customer service and cleanliness.Food & drinks: Free breakfast was delicious and they had healthy options as well.”
“Wendys is next door, mcdonalds is across the street. I love the location. The rooms are nice and big with big wall mounted TV. Sliding glass door and a front door is really nice and makes it feel like home. I will definitely stay again!!!Rooms: Large rooms, full tub with bathroom sink and toilet being in its own room. There is a safe and microwave and fridge which is in its own designated area. Love it!!! Highly recommendedNearby activities: Shopping mall across the street. Lots 9f food choices”

“They just don't make them like this anymore. Classic red brick construction, and lovely landscape featuring many large live oaks. The hotel was exceptionally clean and provided great customer service. The pool area was well kept with a variety of comfortable furniture nestled in more lovely landscaping under an oak canopy. This property also has nice areas for indoor and outdoor events.”
“Absolutely the best staff from the front desk to housekeeping. I love the high ceilings. We stayed for 2 months and it was without a doubt the best hotel we've stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of places the past 9 months. What a relief that it was the only place that had no roaches.”

“$96 for Saturday night in Tampa is super cheap and even though the toilet was dirty, I would stay here again because it's close to Hard Rock Tampa, parking is included, the room is cold, I did not see any bugs (yet), and check-out time is 11 AM. I just want to Uber to the K-Pop rave and have a place to sleep. My standards are low and so is the room price.”
