“Nice hotel. Not the biggest fan of the bathrooms. They have a small glass window in the shower so it’s kinda awkward if you’re sharing a room. The glass is tinted but kinda weird. Also the bathroom door is a barn sliding door so there is about an inch on either sides still open when closed.”

“Couldn’t be more happy with this hotel. We have stayed at places much more experience with very average experience. This was a very nice surprise. We paid a very affordable rate for two nights with two kids and had a suite which was really clean and roomy with a kitchenette and a pull out sofa with two queen beds. Very clean with little shoe polish package and single use comb even. Night light was a nice little detail for the kids going to the bathroom at night. The staff very very polite on arrival and it was convenient location. We definitely boom here again if we are in town. Lovely experience.”

“I have had a pleasant stay at this hotel for about three months due to kitchen fire I am out early in the morning 6:30 am and always greeted with good morning by Ms Delores, such a beautiful person always willing to help others and did I mention the food is good, she prepares this breakfast side, bacon, sausage, spinach, cheese, eggs that is delicious, look for it!!!”

“My wife and I were in need of lodging before our cruise. This Hampton was available and at a decent rate. Win-win! We arrived early and the room was not ready - no big deal. We left our bags and went out for food and museum touring. After a few hours, we got the text saying the room was done. An hour later, we got back and went to the room. We got in and were happy with what we got. The room was decently appointed and had plenty of space. The bed was comfortable and the seating area was nice. If I had any criticism, it would be that the bathroom door BARELY cleared the toilet. To say it was a tight fit would be an understatement. That critique aside, it was a nice stay. The breakfast was decent and the hotel shuttle to the port was a great savings for us! If we were to cruis out of Tampa again, we would definitely consider this Hampton!”

Noteworthy details: this place has an ocean front view that's unbeatable compared to other hotels in the area.”

“Service was absolutely fantastic. Extremely professional and cordial staff that let my family and I stash our luggage for several hours while I completed my Hyrox competition nearby. And then they let me leave a Hyrox pass for a friend and the reception, so he could pick it up when he got to town later. Beds were comfortable and included breakfast was sufficient. 15 mins from downtown. Would stay again.”

The entire staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and accommodating throughout the rest of my stay. “I recently stayed at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Tampa Westshore Airport and overall had a really great experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how clean and well-maintained the entire property was. The lobby had a fresh, welcoming feel — no musty odors, no scuffs on the walls, just a genuinely clean and modern space. The room itself was spotless. The floors were clean, the bathroom was sparkling, and the bedding was crisp and fresh. I checked behind the headboard and under the bed — details that matter to me — and everything was in great shape. The kitchen area was also well-stocked and clean, which was a nice bonus for an extended-stay style room. It was clear that housekeeping takes real pride in their work here. The staff was another highlight. Everyone I interacted with — from the front desk agents at check-in to the folks managing the breakfast area — was genuinely friendly and helpful. They greeted me with a smile and were quick to answer questions. When I needed extra towels, they were brought up promptly and without any attitude. It is the kind of attentive service that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just a room number. The breakfast selection was solid — a good variety of hot and cold options, and the area was kept tidy throughout the morning. The fitness center was also clean and had everything I needed for a quick workout. Location-wise, being close to the airport is incredibly convenient for early flights, and the area has plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, this is a hotel I would confidently return to and recommend to anyone traveling through Tampa.”

“I had a great experience at this hotel. Close to the highway and many food establishments. The A/C worked great and got super cold. Everything in our room was clean!!!! That is super important to me. The bed was comfortable and firmish although the pillows were a little flat, I guess i could’ve asked for more. Parking included unlike other hotels that make you pay for it instead of realizing it should belong with the room rate. Even the continental breakfast was good - the usual, but still good. There was a variety and even a machine that makes your pancakes on a conveyor belt! lol”

“I had to shift my entire travel plans around after finding out that the dates I thought were correct for a funeral, were actually not. When I called the reservations operator, they stated that we had to cancel the hotel through expedia/priceline. Priceline tried to tell us that we could not cancel the reservation. But when we called the hotel directly and explained to Gabriel K. what happened, he took care of us right then and there and cancelled the booking. Then, when we called back to request that he forward US a copy of the cancellation notice so we could continue to pressure priceline to honor it - he did it, right then and there. While I'm typically not a reviews person - outside of reading them - Mr. Gabriel K. deserved a shout out for being a real one. In today's world, be a Gabriel on night shift.”

“The hotel is beautiful and I love the valet parking. There's plenty of areas to sit and relax, being the lounge or pool. I stayed in the room with the Bay View. The room was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were dreamy, I had the best night sleep! The bathroom was spacious and separate from the sink and mirror, which is a plus. I absolutely love the free breakfast buffet and the omelette station! The staff was friendly and helpful. Another big advantage is the trolley station is just in front of the hotel entrance. There's a handicap ramp for wheelchairs to get on and off the trolley. I recommend taking the South bound trolley to station 8 and visit Sparkman Wharf. Not only is the cost cheaper than the surrounding hotels, the stay was relaxing and they truly take good care of you. Let's not forget about the Starbucks in the lobby and the restaurant that you can either go inside to eat or order it for room service, straight to your room. Though the experience was amazing, I have a few suggestions to make it better. The kitchen area had a 3 gallon can, it surely could have used at least a 5 gallon. The last time I stayed at an Embassy Suites hotel, I was able to order a carefe of coffee for room service starting at 7:00am. It's extremely Helpful, so I don't have to get dressed and go way down stairs for a small cup coffee. The coffee offered in the room was enough for 1 person for 1 morning. Overall, my stay was perfect and met my highest expectations. I visit the area a lot and plan to visit Embassy Suites Tampa Bay again soon!”

“Had a 3+ week stay. This is one of the best Comfort Inns imo and I do a ton of hotel stays, particularly with the Choice brand! Definitely the nicest Comfort Inn in Tampa. The staff is super nice also. Parking lot is well lit, & well maintained. It is also easy to navigate should you have a trailer. Very close to the airport! Apparently BTS came through town, and while the hotel had plenty of concert goers the evenings were quite without much disturbance from road or hall traffic.”

“I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. I loved the location because it was quiet and away from a busy intersection, which made the stay feel more relaxing. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. A couple of areas could use some improvement. The bathtub definitely needs some renovation and updating. I also think complimentary breakfast would be a great addition and would make the stay even better. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the quiet location and friendly staff.”
