“Itsel was so sweet and helpful when checking us in. I needed a sewing kit and she found one for me and saved my night! She greeted us every time she saw us and was constantly checking to see if we needed anything.
Delores was great, she was so sweet and helpful during breakfast, her food was delicious. They had more options for breakfast than we anticipated which was great!
They also had a build your own loaded fries treat in the evening which was a nice treat after a long drive.
Everyone was very friendly, helpful and attentive.”
“Nice hotel, polite staff. Sheets did not fit bed so were coming off mattress during the night. They were also very stiff not soft at all. Also housekeeping was knocking on our door before 8:30am. After getting in late due to flight cancelations we found this most annoying. Would be nice if they added some small items back to the bath, we had 1 bar of soap and a very small hand cream. Just saying!
The $6 bottled water and $5 chips were a little steep. Would probably not pick this particular Marriott!”

“Couldn’t be more happy with this hotel. We have stayed at places much more experience with very average experience. This was a very nice surprise. We paid a very affordable rate for two nights with two kids and had a suite which was really clean and roomy with a kitchenette and a pull out sofa with two queen beds. Very clean with little shoe polish package and single use comb even. Night light was a nice little detail for the kids going to the bathroom at night. The staff very very polite on arrival and it was convenient location. We definitely boom here again if we are in town. Lovely experience.”

“good place just make sure to call ahead if you have a pet because they do not honor ESA letters even if you paid a private doctor or received it from the VA hospital. Pet rooms fill up quickly.

“My wife & I had a great stay, no issues at all. The front desk, Michael was very helpful with any information that we needed. Also, Miguel was extremely helpful & full of information about the history of Ybor City. He took us to a park that is one block away from the hotel which celebrates the life of a Cuban patriot Jose Martí, being Cuban myself I appreciate the park & it’s history immensely. Miguel is a great asset to this hotel.

“I only stayed one night gor the BTS concert on the 28th and I had such a nice experience, the rooms are very clean, comfy, the shower and bathroom were also very clean and nice, there was a microwave and miniifridge and they also sell snacks, instant noodles and drinks!. Very affordable, excellent location, friendly staff and tasty breakfast. The only unfortunate thing that happened to me was that the elevator was out of service so we had to use the stairs which was rough after a concert. But it is definitely not a deal breaker and I will definitely go back for my future concerts and trips! Bts and I will be back?”

“This hotel was very nice at a great price. The pool area is a little outdated with not many chairs but we stayed during the winter time. The lobby always had free fresh ground coffee in the morning. This hotel is very close to the amusement park. We stayed here for a concert at the arena, the drive to the arena was a little long due to traffic.”

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the overall atmosphere was warm and relaxing.
One of the highlights of my mornings was breakfast, especially thanks to the breakfast attendant, Bascom. He went above and beyond to make guests smile and feel appreciated. It was so sweet and thoughtful of him to hand out little smiley face key chains just to brighten everyone’s day. Small gestures like that truly make a lasting impression and show how much he cares about the guests’ experience.
Excellent customer service, great hospitality, and positive energy all around. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay!”

“Rooms were clean, comfortable and updated well! Only complaint would be the valet/parking fees. Put that seems par for the course these days for a revenue enhancement reach. Convenient to the airport and all access to downtown or wherever you might in town for. Pricing was reasonable and it is a full service, well appointed hotel. Would definitely consider returning for a future stay.”

“The hotel is beautiful and I love the valet parking. There's plenty of areas to sit and relax, being the lounge or pool.
I stayed in the room with the Bay View. The room was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were dreamy, I had the best night sleep! The bathroom was spacious and separate from the sink and mirror, which is a plus. I absolutely love the free breakfast buffet and the omelette station! The staff was friendly and helpful. Another big advantage is the trolley station is just in front of the hotel entrance. There's a handicap ramp for wheelchairs to get on and off the trolley. I recommend taking the South bound trolley to station 8 and visit Sparkman Wharf.
Not only is the cost cheaper than the surrounding hotels, the stay was relaxing and they truly take good care of you. Let's not forget about the Starbucks in the lobby and the restaurant that you can either go inside to eat or order it for room service, straight to your room.
Though the experience was amazing, I have a few suggestions to make it better.
The kitchen area had a 3 gallon can, it surely could have used at least a 5 gallon.
The last time I stayed at an Embassy Suites hotel, I was able to order a carefe of coffee for room service starting at 7:00am. It's extremely Helpful, so I don't have to get dressed and go way down stairs for a small cup coffee. The coffee offered in the room was enough for 1 person for 1 morning.
Overall, my stay was perfect and met my highest expectations. I visit the area a lot and plan to visit Embassy Suites Tampa Bay again soon!”

“I had a great experience at this hotel. Close to the highway and many food establishments. The A/C worked great and got super cold. Everything in our room was clean!!!! That is super important to me. The bed was comfortable and firmish although the pillows were a little flat, I guess i could’ve asked for more. Parking included unlike other hotels that make you pay for it instead of realizing it should belong with the room rate. Even the continental breakfast was good - the usual, but still good. There was a variety and even a machine that makes your pancakes on a conveyor belt! lol”
“I recently stayed at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Tampa Westshore Airport and overall had a really great experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how clean and well-maintained the entire property was. The lobby had a fresh, welcoming feel — no musty odors, no scuffs on the walls, just a genuinely clean and modern space.
The room itself was spotless. The floors were clean, the bathroom was sparkling, and the bedding was crisp and fresh. I checked behind the headboard and under the bed — details that matter to me — and everything was in great shape. The kitchen area was also well-stocked and clean, which was a nice bonus for an extended-stay style room. It was clear that housekeeping takes real pride in their work here.
The staff was another highlight. Everyone I interacted with — from the front desk agents at check-in to the folks managing the breakfast area — was genuinely friendly and helpful. They greeted me with a smile and were quick to answer questions. When I needed extra towels, they were brought up promptly and without any attitude. It is the kind of attentive service that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just a room number.
The breakfast selection was solid — a good variety of hot and cold options, and the area was kept tidy throughout the morning. The fitness center was also clean and had everything I needed for a quick workout.
Location-wise, being close to the airport is incredibly convenient for early flights, and the area has plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, this is a hotel I would confidently return to and recommend to anyone traveling through Tampa.”

“It was a good stay but please do something about the beeping in the elevators. The noise is very annoying. Being on the top floor for 4 days and going back and forth, it’s a bit loud. The parking fee could be cheaper but it’s Tampa, I get it. The food in the restaurant was decent for having to eat there for one day. The male bartender very nice and efficient. Would stay again.”

“Stayed here recently and had a good experience overall. The room had plenty of space, and the property has an older historic feel that makes it stand out from more standard hotels. The shuttle was convenient, especially for getting around without hassle. Service was friendly, and the place was generally clean and comfortable. A couple small things could be improved, like stronger water pressure and faster elevators, but nothing that ruined the stay.”

“I had to shift my entire travel plans around after finding out that the dates I thought were correct for a funeral, were actually not. When I called the reservations operator, they stated that we had to cancel the hotel through expedia/priceline. Priceline tried to tell us that we could not cancel the reservation. But when we called the hotel directly and explained to Gabriel K. what happened, he took care of us right then and there and cancelled the booking. Then, when we called back to request that he forward US a copy of the cancellation notice so we could continue to pressure priceline to honor it - he did it, right then and there. While I'm typically not a reviews person - outside of reading them - Mr. Gabriel K. deserved a shout out for being a real one. In today's world, be a Gabriel on night shift.”

“Had a 3+ week stay. This is one of the best Comfort Inns imo and I do a ton of hotel stays, particularly with the Choice brand! Definitely the nicest Comfort Inn in Tampa. The staff is super nice also.
Parking lot is well lit, & well maintained. It is also easy to navigate should you have a trailer. Very close to the airport!
Apparently BTS came through town, and while the hotel had plenty of concert goers the evenings were quite without much disturbance from road or hall traffic.”
