“Facility is nice, the area is not convenient for any type of activities. There are two sides to the hote. Rooms on the airport side are above an empty garage and looks terrible. The Bay side is very nice and the hotel has large windows with a nice view. Staff is great. The shower faucets were the worst part, is was impossible to maintain a comfortable temperature it was either scaulding hot or freezing and that continued the entire stay, staff was unable to resolve.”

“Right across the street from Bern's Steakhouse and in the heart of Hyde Park. Great location if you aren't planning on going out to Tampa. Room was beautifully decorated and the bed super comfortable. Maybe bigger pillows is the only issue I found.”

“Stayed for a week while my wife was attending a conference. The hotel is clean, spacious and the pool area is great. The real highlight of this hotel for me was Carl Fuller in the concierge room. He had helpful suggestions about activities all week. Helped me find good places to eat and fun places to explore. We will be back for the conference next year, looking forward to the golf course reccomendations Carl gave me.”

“I like to thank Trina, Guess Services Ambassador at the Hampton Inn & Suites. She was very friendly and made my wife and I feel comfortable during my stay. Thank you for the restaurant recommendation. Trina direction around town is better than GPS!! The gentlemen who was working with Trina was very friendly also (sorry forgot his name).”

“Alicia, can clean a bathroom. That was the best smelling women’s bathroom in all of Tampa. I walked in and you can tell she took her time moping and cleaning and everything was to a t, strange review but, sometimes is the little things that make a hotel, and she was working hard.”

“The staff at this hotel are top notch. So friendly, kind, welcoming and professional. Breakfast for me was just what I needed (hard boiled eggs and some kind of sausage every day). The gym is very small but has just enough to get a good workout in. The rooms are really, really outdated - that's my only negative. A fresh coat of neutral paint, better electrical outlets and brighter lighting, and maybe updated bathroom fixtures would go a long way - but it won't keep me from staying here. Everything was super clean and worked fine. I have a student down the road at USF and I will definitely make this my home base when I visit.”

“This inn is located close to MacDill (in an area that has some shady motels). The staff is nice, breakfast covers all the bases and the rooms are clean. (Better than the MacDill Inn). Please don't use so much fragrance in the rooms. The perfume smell is overwhelming.”

“The Tampa Marriott Westshore was a great place to stay while visiting Tampa for some sun and Spring Training Games. The shuttle was AMAZING. They took us so many places and we saved so much on not having a rental car or using Uber. Victor and his shuttle coworkers are great! The pool is very nice. Lots of clean towels.Only bad part was hotel room doors are very outdated and had trouble each day getting in with key cards from front desk and heard several guests discussing the same thing everyday.Rooms: Need updated and more staff cleaning rooms.Door locks need updated very badly. Do not open with key cards issued from front desk.Nearby activities: So close to Spring Training, Restaurants and Shopping.”

“We were traveling through Tampa and stayed here and it was a nice place. We asked for a higher up room and it had an awesome view of the city. The room was very nice and clean. The only complaint is they only have two ice machines for all 12 floors and they are both on the 2nd floor.”

“Very nice accommodations. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Appreciated the shuttle to and from Busch Gardens (which was actually within walking distance for those that wished to walk). This was the quietest hotel we have ever stayed at, never heard our "neighbors" or any hall noise.”

“We booked this for the night before our cruise. Everything was great. We walked to our restaurant from there that night. We ate there the next morning. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. My husband pigged out!! We left our vehicle in their immediate parking garage while we were on our cruise. Really great place!!! Super convenient too! I will definitely be back.”

“The customer service and hospitality was nonexistent. Our room was musty and had questionable stains on the carpet. I asked other random guests how their experience was and they were also disappointed.”

“Typical base lodging. The room was nice but not exceptional like the Hilton. Check-in/check-out was a breeze and the staff was super friendly and provided helpful city and base information. Not to mention they have spirits (beverages) for purchase there--which was much needed for relaxation after my long trip.A bit costly for the room. However that has nothing to do with them, that's probably government mandated. The room was clean and no noise interruptions. Would definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.I rated the location as a 3 based on city location (not where it's located on the base). It's kinda out of the way.”

“Very nice hotel. Great venue for a wedding. Only problem we had was with the front desk and checking in. If the names are not perfect on your reservation, they were virtually useless. Very disappointed with that, but overall the stay was a success.”

“This is a well managed hotel, great set up in terms of the lobby and rooms, and service is attentive and helpful. The fitness center is updated, organized. There are good restaurants and bars with a 15 min drive.”

“The best part of my experience was this receptionist named Joshua. Very helpful and patient with every question I asked him. Hotel rooms and room service is amazing as well.”

“PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE & Jake was the icing on the cake!! His customer service and personality are beyond anything I've ever experienced!! He is a very rare gem!!!! The suite was clean, well put together. We were by the water. We had a fantastic Christmas Eve dinner and day as our little family. It was a great experience!! Thank you Jake for making it even more delightful!”

“This hotel might look a little dated in the rooms, but the bedding was very comfortable. Beds are pretty firm which might be a problem for some. The only real issue was the elevators being kind of sketchy with a knocking noise as they passed each floor and one being out of order.Walkability: This hotel is perfect for walking around downtown and the waterfront.”

“The room was pretty nice. The gym was ok with dumbbells up to 75lb and a cable machine. There's a restaurant in the hotel. It's 5 min from the airport with a free shuttle every 20 min.”

“Comfortable clean room with great customer service from Justine who aided with our reservation and check-in. She went above and beyond for us. All other hotel staff was pleasant and courteous. Lobby and public areas were clean. Morning coffee was plentiful and breakfast area served our needs. The breakfast hosts are helpful Thank you Comfort Suites and staff for a great 3 day stay!! Ill be back!”

“Lauren was great at check in. The room was clean and the water was hot. I used wifi for a good portion of the night and it was a little slow, but I was able to get everything accomplished. If I were in this area and needed a hotel I would return here. The only issues I had was the light over the couch kept blinking. Also breakfast wasn’t that great. They had biscuits and gravy, however the gravy was the texture of a warm glue. Last but not least they need to check a few of the doors. They slam instead of having a “soft close.” Hard to rest when other patrons didn’t have any manners not to let it slam. Overall, minor and I would return.”

“It was all neat "but" it didn't have the right kind of glare as a real 'suburban boulevard themed' vintage motel ????? I was expecting. But the subject with Motel 301 is I fathom this one as just that of an actual "fisher creek buckhorn inspired" resort which is now not my type but thanks for everything.”

“Perfect space for families. Rooms feature a kitchenette with fridge, dishwasher, sink, stovetop + basic cookware/plates/glasses..etc. Customer service was super attentive and friendly. There are so many food options within walking distance. The restaurant on site was beautiful with great bites.”

“We have stayed in this hotel twice now and it is a very, very nice hotel with very nice, friendly, smiling staff. The breakfast is delicious, with many choices. The room was spacious, clean and the beds are comfy. We will definitely stay here again.”

“I did not officially stay here, I unfortunately had car issues and had to pull into parking lot and wait for a tow. I walked in front lobby to advise front desk and apologize. Tee was amazing with her smile and attitude even though I was not staying she was so nice and helpful (even kept eye on car when I was gone) if I was needing to stay anywhere I would pick there because of her and her amazing service.”

“Happy New Year!!! Best view of every firework show across the bay! This hotel is where it's at. We drove in from NC and arrived late, which Esteban assured us was no issue at all and he was here and greeted my husband when we arrived. He was extremely accommodating. We had a small ringing sound in the room that wasn't going away. 1 call to the front desk and Valentina sent up the amazing technician (didn't catch his name) who was in and out in less than 5 minutes resolving the ringing issue. Parking is convenient and the parking garage takes you straight to your room floor. The beds are comfy and the pillows and blankets were like cuddling up in a cloud. The Microfiber robe was a complete delight. I will be getting one. Which leads me to mention that all of their luxury items, including the robes, are available for purchase to have the luxury experience continue when you get home. 10 out of 10 would recommend The Westin to anyone looking for a great experience.Rooms: The room was very comfortable. Best view of the Bay and the Buccaneers Stadium!Nearby activities: 15 min drive to Clearwater Beach!Walkability: You can walk the whole Bay! It is beautiful!Food & drinks: Bahama Breeze is literally .4 miles away and did not disappoint. Amazing view and water seating available as well.”

“Good value for the money but not the most appealing location. Stay here because it was near the airport and Busch gardens. Otherwise there are nicer areas farther awayRooms: I enjoyed the rooms and the onsite restaurant”

“Well, it's usually ○?.The room is clean✴.I'm not used to fixed showers, so it's a little difficult to use. There is a convenience store (Circle K) nearby, 2km?.”

“Rooms are nice but not cleaned properly. There were insects in the room in every corner. The wifi was too slow, even not working some time. Staff is very cooperative. If you get lucky enough to find someone.”
