701 Enterprise Road East, Safety HarborI really cannot overstate how helpful and supportive the entire team at the Animal Hospital of Northwood has been for me and my rescue puppy, Ginny. Ginny has really kept me on my toes since we adopted her in August (parasites, conjunctivitis, and a skin rash on top of the usual vaccine schedule), and I owe my sanity to the incredible vets, techs, and support staff who have helped us over and over again.
Ginny and I have seen lots of people across our countless visits, and while everyone was great, I would especially like to thank Dr. Woodman, Dr. Spivey, Sammantha, Kimberly, and Mallory for their exceptional care. Their kindness, insight, and attention have made a huge difference for Ginny and me as we navigate the perils and joys of puppyhood and first-time dog ownership.

670 Main Street, Safety HarborI'm traveling south from Tallahassee doing recon for a multi-port fishing trip down the Florida coast. I'm currently in Safety Harbor. Troubled Waters Brewery is a cool place with great beers and a nice bartender but honestly, my favorite part was the Ramen food truck outside in the parking lot. OMG, that Ramen meal (Tantanmen) was AMAZING! It was, without a doubt, the best Ramen food I've EVER eaten. I even took a picture of my meal and myself next to the truck. Who knew food-truck food could be this incredible? I thoroughly enjoyed 'Nick Sloans Adventure'.

305 Main Street, Safety HarborBeen here twice which happened to be 2 weekends in a row. Food and service were fantastic! I got the crab sandwich the first time and the pistachio crusted red snapper this last time. Both visits we started with fresh oysters, the trio fried green tomatoes appetizer. My side dish was the aoli garlic crispy potatoes. This place is a Gem I’ve taken 2 different couples along with us. Everybody loved it! It’s better than Ocean Prime. The attached seafood market and store give it that local Florida feel. This is by far the best place to dine in Safety Harbor. Can’t wait to go back and try something else!

We took an outside table during Third Fridays and it was like being in our own corner of tropical paradise while the party happened on Main Street. It was our first visit, and we will be back.

In Saftey Harbor in the morning. Today I was so I decided to give this adorable breakfast spot a try. My instincts directed me straight to the banana 🍌 and pecan pancakes 🥞, and I’m glad I did. Since real maple 🍁 syrup wasn’t an option I chose delicious butter to smother my delicious breakfast treat. Plus I so enjoyed sitting outside .

This establishment encompasses all of the things that make this town appealing….. with its smalltown charm, peaceful neighborhood, and social friendly bar and boutique; this is a dog friendly paradise (off leash) park with everything and more than you would expect. I can’t speak highly enough about the staff and the hospitality.. but most importantly All of the charismatic and friendly dogs playing together. Its a must visit for any dog lover and dog.
