I've been using Smart stop for a few months now. Since the day I open the account everybody has been professional and extremely reliable with communication. The staff and manager Necole have maintained professionalism and bent over backwards to provide customer service in order to make sure that I have been well taken care of!
To be honest this is one of those situations where I can't give them enough credit, Necole has worked with me through many issues. Shown complete hospitality throughout all of them and I cannot share enough gratitude towards her exceptional service!

The front desk was very helpful and patient with me. I wasn’t sure which unit and they went to show me a couple times to make sure I had the best one for my circumstances. I just recommend they have a site map created it would save time for the ladies and the customers. Thank you to both front desk ladies!

Shady bait-and-switch business tactics. I originally signed my agreement for a total of $111 a month, and just a couple months later the rent increased to $177. When I called to ask about the increase, I was told it increased because of “market value,” and that a letter was sent to me, which I never received. It’s also important to note that I was calling to let them know I was vacating the unit, and wasn’t even going to be there half of that month. I was told there was nothing to be done, and when I asked further to see if I could reach out to higher management myself, she refused to give me the information. It’s interesting that “market value” increased by over 60% in such a short amount of time, and it’s even more interesting that other customers have left similar reviews complaining of the same situation. That market value sure seems to follow this same pattern a lot.

This company is shady, don't rent here. When I signed for my unit the price listed on their website said "Web Rate" and was $96. Six months later I received a letter saying that my rate was increasing to $198! And I was only given 20 days notice for the increase. Nothing on my rental agreement said that the "web rate" would end after 6 months. Nothing on their website said that it would end. The facility is older, gates are constantly broken. Yet they are charging top tier prices. There are better options out there for the money. Calls and emails to the manager go unanswered.
