“We had not planned to rent a car during a 10 days family vacation (5 people) on St. Pete Beach and after 3 days and on a Sunday, we realized our mistake. Elon, the owner, was exceptionally helpful in working with me to arrange a rental. He personally dropped off the car, which was bigger and nicer than I expected, and he explained everything I needed to know to use the car safely. He also offered advice and various options for picking up the car days later. I appreciated that he stayed in touch and make all arrangements. I would highly recommend his business! “I had been to all the other car rental agencies in St. Pete Beach, after being disappointed at the initial place didn't have the car I had reserved ahead of time. I was told that I could drive to Tampa to see if they had a similar vehicle there. I stopped at the Avis location on Gulf Blvd and told Shadae what had happened to me. She checked some things out and made some adjustments and provided me with the perfect vehicle! This was without any fussing or negativity on her part at all!! She was the perfect model of customer service and was so pleasant to deal with! I know where I'll be going the next time a similar need I know where I'll go! “Convenient location. My husband made a reservation for a car and went to pick it up. He only had his debit card and they would only accept a major credit card, which he had left at home. So he asked them to cancel the reservation and he would have me come down with my credit card to make a new reservation. This was just minutes after the time of his reservation and because they canceled it just two minutes after the time he was supposed to have picked up they charged him for a full day with no refund. But the price for the week was pretty good, except for that fee. I will probably look into another rental car company next year as I do not trust them any longer.”

“Beware of the extra fees! Thought we got a good deal on the SUV rental until we returned it this morning and was charged $200 more for an extra driver - for a husband and wife to drive the vehicle ($13.99 a day $135 plus $50+ taxes). Next time we will go back to Enterprise Rent a Car for this exact reason. To charge that much extra for a spouse who has the same insurance to drive the car is a pretty steep fee. The guy Charlie who checked us in and out was friendly. The vehicle itself was very nice. Also after just reading the policies online on extra drivers, the employee did not let us know that for disabled drivers and AAA members the extra driver fee is waived - which applies to us - oh well - guess we are just out $200.”
