“I know it seems odd for a Gas Station to be GOOD at making pizza and deli sandwiches, but this place actually does! Ordered fresh, the pizza is made fresh and is pretty damned good NY style; plus at under $10 for a whole pie you can't go wrong. But, if you have the time to wait, or can call ahead, order the Heart Attack sub. The Heart Attack sub is a masterpiece sudo chicken parmesan turned on it's head with fries and cheese sticks. It is delicious! There is also a sandwich called "Buffalo Soldier", and it will have you in spicy chicken heaven. If you like fresh French fries, they make them here too.So next time your near 17-92 and 25th street in Sanford, and feeling hungry but sick and tired of the same old burger, pizza, and fried chicken places up and down the road, give Sammy's a try. I'm a regular customer I don't even think to try anything else but this month is my birthday month so I'll explore the menu. I usually postor share comments on most the new foods I eat , restaurant and food trunk I go to but this is a always go to for me and always felt like it was no need to post. “This was a stop after I was put in jail for some literal nonsense. I had just spent 70 bucks getting my dog out of the pound. Then my parents picked me and Toons up. Then I drive with them 4 miles to get my car. And I realized that I left my wallet here. Of course I thought the worst but god is kind sometimes and the owner nabbed it for me and gave it back. Great dude. I will drive out of my way to come to this spot for bowling drinks. Thanks again. My face is staring in the sun which is why my face looks like that. Lol. Baller store though.”

“The store is kept clean, they sell pastries and some hot foods like Hot dogs as well as a variety of wines. The #4 gas pump wasn't working properly on the day I visited the store. I had to move over to another pump because it wouldn't pump more than 94¢ at a time on pump #4.However the workers always seem friendly and ready to help.”

“7-11 now has the best coffee machines out of any convenience store I’ve ever been to. Bring your own cup to make refills $1.06, and you can pay here on your phone in the app so don’t have to wait in line. There is no option for the coffee refill, so you may touch the big gulp refill as it’s the same price, is what I was told by an employee. It’s better then Starbucks and foxtail or any place. The only problem is you can’t sit and hang out anywhere but in your car, and since that’s all I do anyhow, it’s wonderful.”

“This location typically has the lowest gas prices in the area for a radius of five miles or more. There is usually no wait and easy access from Lake Mary Boulevard or the side street. It is quick to get in and out from either direction. They often have food carts in the parking lot with friendly service.”

“This isn’t a branded as a Circle K but as a Kangaroo Express. The guy inside is nice and there is a restroom for customers. Also a Krispy Krunchy Chicken which is Goated”

“It's a gas station It's not perfect but the employees get an A+ from me!!! My son had got car sick one if them had a hose in the back of their car and provided me some cleaner. They sold drinks to replace my boy's fluids and most importantly AIR FRESHENER!!”

“This place has its ups and downs. Really depends on the energy of the workers. I know it’s hard to have consistent workers right now, and for the most part there are a few workers i consistently see that are good workers.
I think it could be friendlier for being so close to downtown, sometimes it feels like you gotta get in an out, other times it seems okay to lounge around.
I typically get drinks. Haven’t tried any of the food but it’s a gas station. Don’t have high expectations and try to add to the vibe not take away these workers have lives too.

“This place is pretty neat I had to go to the little girls room and they have restaurants in here there was like a Family Diner and I ate lunch there and the food was pretty good. If you stop and get gas at any of these Kangaroo Express and you are hungry just stop in and get a bite to eat. It's pretty good.?”
“Kevin's corner store has become a local favorite in the Sanford area. There are two buildings here; Kevin's main convenience store, which supplies all of your normal convenience store needs minus gas. Adjacent to the convenience store is Kevin's Liquor store. My wife and I frequent both locations weekly. The store is within walking distance of our home so it is a quick easy spot to grab a snack, drink or cigar for that fun night out on the town. I would say that Kevin's prices are fair market value when compared to other convenience stores in the area. There have been occasions where I have been able to get a bottle of Jim Beam or Makers Mark at a better price than ABC or Walgreens. On a side note, if you love Bud Light Platinum this may be the only place you can find it in a 12 pack or more. I am not sure why 12 packs of Platinum are so rare but if you need it Kevin's almost always has it. The parking lot can be quite active so be prepared to navigate around other people who cannot park, drive in general or just don't know how-to walk-in public. This is part of the reason we like to walk here but I guess that's how it is when your business is located at the intersection of French Ave. and 20th street in Sanford. The staff here are always helpful and friendly. The guy who is usually working in the liquor store is awesome at helping you find what you need at the best price. I feel is a great way to keep customers coming back. If you are visiting Sanford for a fun day/night out, stop in to Kevin's before heading downtown. There is something for everyone here, you might just save some Moolah and enhance your overall experience visiting Sanford.”
