I’ve been to this branch twice, and both times I was the only customer and both times no one said hi or looked up from their computer/phones. Feels like they didn’t want my business or that I was inconveniencing them by being there.

I have been a Schwab customer for over 30 years. Also have money with JP Morgan and Fidelity. The Sarasota office is the worst I have EVER seen in my life. Its like they are the worKing retired. There don't return calls, they move slow, and have no passion. Tried to contact the person in charge of the office 2x and HIS boss. Nobody every responded. STAY AWAY

They don't answer the phone, not even for their own call center. When you go there to get help in person they'll set a time with you to call you but never will. They won't stick to the timeframe expectation they set not even by a long shot. Call back was to be the next day. Things were supposed to be finalized after one week. It's been 3 weeks and no phonecall, nothing done and apparently they're even missing records of the in person interaction where I was provided copies of. Huge lack of caring and organization. If you try to book an appointment online it'll say they'll call you back within two days, they never called.

There was a time when the customer service was not good, but in a number of recent visits that has all changed. This morning, their office was buzzing, but I still received prompt attention and all of my questions were answered.
