I went to the store on beerigde road Sarasota and was not happy.i just wanted a new phone,they rang up the amount and a lot more than I thought it would be and that was because they were charging me for a screen protector and case.i didn't ask for any extras just the phone,so I got up and left!

I just had the worst experience I've ever had anywhere at this place. Our Wi-Fi is currently out due to broken power poles that house of the wires. I have children so we need Wi-Fi..... I went in there to purchase a prepaid hotspot until our Wi-Fi gets fixed. I will list the issues from beginning to end lol.
#1. Tried to make payment with card, Their slow systems would not work. So I went next door to amscot and got cash out of the ATM.
#2. Paid with cash. The rep spent the next 45 minutes trying to get their cheap devices to work (hot spot). Ultimately after 45 minutes she could not. The device and or system was no good we came to that conclusion. I then asked for my money back, three times I did. Finally I called the police in order to get my $200 cash back because the owner via the phone flat out said I could not have my money back!!! The rep also told the owner that I only paid for the device which was $69 that was not the case I paid for everything including service and activation. The owner asked the rep is this true she says yes and they started speaking Spanish again that I could not understand. Long story short The police going in and speaking with him they decided to give me my money back. 😂 As the rep was handing me the cash she held on to it tightly like a child would so I had to snatch it out of her hands lol. All around shady business! But I guess mostly broke people shop at cricket wireless so no one will probably ever read this. Hopefully it helps someone Good luck.

Supposed owner has replied. 😂 They were the ones on the phone with the rep telling her not to give me my money back! They were also laughing at the situation on the phone. Don't be fooled by their response they are shady people. If you look at other reviews I'm not the only one that's had this issue. The other ones didn't get their money back that's why I called the police to get mine back!! Stay far away. I've also contacted corporate.

The gentleman who is in this store does not know manners and is quite disrespectful compared to the lady who is with him. He could not help me with something as simple as unlocking my phone. And also his way of serving the public is poor. professional.

Just upgraded my phone at the Bee Ridge store with Whitley. It was a great experience. She explained the different phones and took the time to transfer my data to my new phone and show me how it worked. Wonderful customer service!

Hello, good afternoon, I wanted to share my experience in that store. The truth is, the person who serves Hispanics does not serve Hispanics well. He is racist. I think that as a customer, I do not deserve that treatment, nor does anyone else. I went to make my payment and he asked me for my ID and then So that I wouldn't make my payment, he told me that he didn't have change and that he thought that he told another person the same thing on another occasion.
