“Detweilers has the best produce, seafood, bakery goods, ice cream, meats, and cheeses. Packaged food items, custom sandwiches, salads, and sushi. Not all products are reasonable, as with any store, but you have lots of choices for many specialty items. It's a fun perusal when shopping for your weekly vittles, plus the samples are better than Costco!”
“Just get a big load of patience and get the right mindset and you will love alot of what this area has to offer. Traffic is terrible, prices are high... but the selection and fancy shopping experience is good if you can afford it and if you do not let the traffic piss you off”

Anna's Deli that was featured on the Food Network, Silver City has some of the most beautiful jewelry and gems, Salon Siesta where while visiting, you can get your nails done and hair. Many other stores including Jake's Ice Cream for those little ones young and old, all natural ingredients. Come be amazed!!!”
“This Plaza is home to some of the best restaurants anywhere. It's a bit hard to turn into, but it's worth. The Siam Gulf restaurant is amazing. Even better now at Siam Gulf now that they take orders from the table instead of the counter.”

“I enjoy walking around even though most of the things are way out of my price range so fun to walk around and explore even if I don't buy one thing lol I miss the mall that used to be by me It was more affordable such a shame as this whole town has become and so sad”
“Really nice place near Sarasota. Lots of great shopping, restaurants and candy shops. A majority of the places are really pricey though so be prepared. Many of the candy shops offer free samples which is nice. A lot of chill music live on the streets playing as well.”

“Went into the Olive garden here for a quick to go meal, and when I stopped in Montana did my order so perfect because when you asked for extra dressing you never get enough and she made sure I had more than enough and I've never gotten that ever in any to go anywhere so stop it I've been coming to this Olive garden for many years it's always been great experiences every time I come here!”

Always the 1st place that is up and running after another hurricane. Our power was out for 6 days after Milton just hit us hard. We're thankful to Publix for being there with the essentials while you're without electricity that long. Thaks to them and a big thanks to the workers from state after state that traveled here to get us back up and into the 21st century.!!!”

“Isaiah was our server and was super nice and attentive. He made us a great fresh guacamole and his commentary on the ingredients was very entertaining!Rachael the manager is super nice and came over to greet us as she remembered us from the Good Liquid Brewing Company.Steak fajitas were delicious and steak was nice and tender.Guacamole was very good and two beers and a pina colada and only $71 with 2 meals!Outside bar is awesome with water view and speakeasy inside bar as well!”
“I was in there yesterday. I usually go to the other ignite down the road, but I made the mistake of going to this one. There was a kid in there with a Donald Trump hair cut, very greasy hair. He talks very slow. Things were going fine. He was selling me a vape kit, but every time a customer walked in, he would walk away from me and attend to the the others. I got fed up and started loading my vape with the bottle of juice I asked for that he left on the counter. The nerve on this punk to to ask me to wait until my transaction was complete. I have no problem with ignite. Someone has to hire the mentally disabled.”

“Stopped at the Pollo Tropical in the area. The restaurant was clean and the staff were attentive and nice. We ordered our food and received it within a couple of minutes. The food was outstanding. They keep their flavor consistent. Never had an issue with the franchise when we order food from them because it has always been very good.”

“So sad to see the demise of another Mall.We had shopped here for years ever since SRQ Mall opened in the late 1970's.We used to love school shopping for the kids and always having lunch at Mass Brothers.The Cooks Kettle soup, petite finger sandwiches and fruit cup was the best. My Grandmother always loved the jellied Florentine salad.Christmas shopping was always a special treat too. All the decorations, sights and sounds were wonderful. Sure miss the good old mall days.Today we were here to shop at Costco.”

“The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime is one of my favorite spots for local shopping in Sarasota. It’s an indoor indie market in Sarasota with a rotating mix of local vendors and artists, so it’s easy to find creative, unique gifts—and half the fun is hearing the stories behind what people make and sell.
They also do a great job keeping things fun with events throughout the month, so there’s always something new happening.
And don’t skip Hamlet’s Eatery in the courtyard. The burger and fries are excellent, the specials are always worth checking out, and the vegetarian and vegan options are so good that even a meat-eater will be happy.
