The Treasure Chest is a thrift store located in downtown Sarasota, operated by Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center, Inc. (SPARCC). It offers clothing, jewelry, art, antiques, and furniture, with most items coming from community donations and consignments. All profits support SPARCC’s mission to help survivors of domestic and sexual violence and promote a violence-free community through education and awareness. The store is clean, organized, and staffed by friendly staff who are helpful. Visitors have found good brands of clothes and jewelry, and enjoy supporting a cause that makes a difference. While they do not accept large furniture, donations like phones are appreciated. The Treasure Chest is a highly recommended place to shop and donate, especially after the Saturday farmer's market.
The 2 gentlemen that came to pick up my deceased relatives items were prompt and extremely helpful. Raphael at the main office was especially helpful and accommodating. Donated several items (sofa, recliner, coffee tables, end tables, kitchen table and chairs. Highly recommend this charity.

High quality thrift store that raises money to support SPARCC. They accept most donations except large furniture items. I donated my IPhone which will be needed and useful at their crisis center.

Great place to visit after the farmer's market on Saturday morning! I found sailboat earrings and staff were very helpful!
