The current overall rating of 2.3 stars on Google is well deserved. Yesterday was my first time into this branch and it will be last.I will drive to another location.I appreciate the employees do not control the branch environment but when you walk in, it is a restaurant/ hotel lobby atmosphere built around comfort. I would gladly take back the old school wall of tellers that helped you as quickly as they could. I am not waiting on someone to setup an account and get a bank card when I just need to make a large deposit. Length of wait was the reason for my poor review.On the plus side, the other staff was polite while telling me someone would help me soon.

I had a great experience at this branch and with Shawn. My debit card was expiring in a few days, and we’re heading into a storm. Made an appointment online and was in and out in 10 minutes. Shawn was super personable, efficient and had me sorted with a new card quickly.I do not use a branch often but this was an overall great customer service experience. I wish more people like Shawn staffed all of the places I do business.

Lifelong TD customer. This branch is the sole reason I am leaving this bank, TD is great in NY but in Sarasota this is the only option for TD. The staff are rude and lazy. Watch all the managers and tellers walk by a long line of customers to go eat their newly delivered pizza and leave one girl by herself at the front. They wanted me to fill out a deposit slip for $160 with the account number and everything, apparently they don't fill that anymore to "avoid mistakes." I've deposited thousands of dollars and never have had to fill one out. Going here is the same experience you'd get going to a DMV in New York is the best comparison I can come up with.

I read these terrible reviews and was surprised as the TD in New York is quite good. Now I understand the reviews. They messed up a simple wire transfer for me and abdicated any responsibility. Now I’m out $150 in fees and TD says there’s nothing they can do. They didn’t even try to call the other bank. Terrible bank to do business with.

This branch provides anything but "Legendary Customer Service". Had to replace a debit card, was told wait time was approx 45-50 mins because they were short staffed. Overheard the teller responsible for issuing the new card "I'll get to him when I get to him". Like what? I had a new card issued at other branches in literally 10 minutes. Will be changing banks

This is the worst bank I’ve ever done business with. Matter of fact the worst business I’ve ever done any transaction with. I went on a Saturday 2/25 at 9:15 am to add a person to a safety deposit box. None of the tellers knew how to perform this transaction and made us wait for a financial officer so they made us wait for an hour and a half. We finally had enough of waiting and told the financial officer we are going to come back towards closing and take care of our problem. At no point did the financial officer say let me take a look at your account and see if you need anything prior your arrival, nope nothing. When we returned, the original officer passed us on to the assistant manger Gale. We informed Gale that we were shocked to see that the tellers weren’t crossed trained to perform a simple task, and that the original financial officer didn’t seem to know how to help us either. This must have been the straw that broke the camel’s back because Gale started to immediately raise her voice saying “don’t tell me how to do my job” etc. I then informed her that if this TD bank is the only location in 7 counties it may be beneficial to train other employees how to complete these transactions to avoid customers coming in and tell you how to do your job. We then proceeded to complete the transaction, during which my mother asked Gale if we could transfer the boxes while she was completing the paperwork. Can you guess what happened next? Gale proceeded to raise her voice again, at this point I was frustrated and told her not to raise her voice that I am a customer and this is unacceptable. Want to guess what her reaction was?? She then started to yell at her co-workers to call the cops ?. I told her to call the cops, I’ll be here waiting as I have done nothing wrong. She then calmed down, sat down and completed the transaction. Then during the completion of our transaction we discovered that our original transaction of opening the safety deposit account was processed incorrectly, shocker. After another hour and a half we finally completed the transaction of adding someone to the account. The moral of this post is if you have any serious money with this bank, a mortgage, retirement accounts, investments, or anything other then a simple checking or savings I would advise you to pull your money out or never bank with this specific location . This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with any business, period.

This is a terrible bank that have incompetent employees that don’t know what they are doing there. Plus the assistant manager was so rude to me and my son and the only thing we were in there was to add his name on my safe deposit box. The assistant manager should be fired for yelling at us and for saying she was gonna call the police on us. What happened to customer service at this bank?

This location has hoorible customer service. Especially, Gale! She has always bad attitude and aggressive! Beacuse of her, I closed all my accounts from this location! If you love and respect yourself, do not go this location!

Do not go here or use their services!My buddy warned me about not to deal with TD for any Loan needs. I was well-qualified to obtain a loan but they still found a reason d*** reason to get me hard credit inquiry and not approve me because I used forbiddance on one of the properties after hurricane Ian which I already paid in full and did not ask for extension. The reason why I got forbiddance because house was damage from hurricane . Nice way to help people when they come for help shame on you TD Bank.

TD bank goes out of their way to look after their customers. One thing I would like to see improved...the outside ATM refused to take my bundle of $20 bills. I had 25 of them. I had to feed in only 5 at a time and do 5 separate transactions. The ATM said it could handle up to 50 bills at once.
