“I found Barbic via the internet without any personal reference from someone who had had work done successfully. Trying to find someone to trust with the recommendation to rebuild or replace a transmission in a vehicle is not easy, and I was super happy to find Gary. Gary was very knowledgeable with our particular vehicle (2003 Toyota Tundra) and I believe he did a great job of pricing out the various options and explaining the value of doing the job in different way. Ultimately, Barbic did a full rebuild of our transmission with new parts, instead of putting in a used transmission and is backing it with a warranty. The work was not cheap but I believe in the product and Gary's shop to back up their work. The truck drives great and was worth rebuilding the value into.”

“I was having problems with the Transmission on my 2019 Chevy Express Van with less than 50k miles on it. It would have been covered by the 5yr/50k mikes warranty, but I waited too long. I tried to get an appointment with the Chevy Dealer but they were not available for several months. Luckily I found a transmission shop that was able to diagnose the problem and repair it quickly. Highly recommend.”

I was hearing a strange noise while driving and was worried it might be my transmission. I stopped by Ralph's Transmission, and they were kind enough to do a quick check for me. They quickly identified the issue and assured me it wasn't my transmission, saving me unnecessary worry and expense.
The shop was very clean and organized, and everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. My son recently had his transmission replaced here, and he also had a great experience. Highly recommend!”
“A friend recommended Steve's. They changed my spark plugs, brake fluid and flushed the brake line to each wheel. I also talked with him about A/C work I needed done and they can do that work much cheaper than Sunset Chevrolet/Buick. Good, detailed conversation about this work too!”
