“I just love this store it is a Testament to a well run and well-loved used high-end store. If you can't find it here, you ain't looking hard enough. They have some beautiful stuff. Everything from clothes boots, beautiful, high ends jewelry. We're talking diamonds , gold , sapphires , rubies , emeralds ,silver, even high end custome jewelry. you name it , then we got the furniture , They have dish wear ,glasses, etc. . New stuff coming in daily. I recommend it highly”

“This place is such fun to visit! Every time I come in, there are new treasures that take me back in time. There are things for every budget. I can buy a pair of MCM salt and pepper shakers or an entire bedroom suite. It’s obvious these things are carefully curated and chosen for their excellent condition and unique style and representation of the MCM era. Don’t be confused; this is not a thrift store. It is a furniture store that sells high end vintage furniture. The owners are a friendly, helpful couple with a keen eye for style and design. It’s worth checking out!”
“W PLATOS CLOSET!!!!! W MANAGEMENT!!! Whoever the tall dude was pretty sure he was a manager he gave me a piece of good info! Also every time I come into this store the workers are beyond nice I just moved to Bradenton not too long ago and plenty of times have i chosen this one over the Bradenton Plato’s. The store always looks super nice and it’s a breath of fresh air mirrors, good lighting, vibes are high. Also if you guys ever wondered why they just won’t take certain stuff not only do they have limitations on the items they accept but sometimes it’s just the person who goes through your clothing and I say that for EVERY Plato’s closet. It’s a thrift store in the end of the day life is a scam. If they don’t take your stuff today go back tomorrow maybe another person will. Ask for the specific reasoning behind EACH piece of clothing . Overall this is the best one to come to STAY AWAY FROM THE PLATOS IN BRADENTON!!!!!”
“Was relunctant to come here after seeing some of the recent reviews but was pleasantly surprised. I needed business casual clothes and was able to find tons of items, ended up buying a bunch of pieces at good prices.
The lighting isnt very bright, but not a huge deal. Did notice many clothes not in the correct size section but overall seemed like most of the clothes were correctly placed. It's a different vibe than the Ellenton Clothes Mentor, but there's still plenty of good clothes to find.”

“Went there earlier this summer and the man who owns the place is so wonderful and sweet. The layout is exactly how I like antique stores to be, organized but cluttered with wonderful finds. Everything is well priced, I will definitely come again :]”
“Found a real cashmere scarf for $5. Pretty good find. Clothing was a little sparse the day I went and there seemed to be more for the 40+ crowd which is pretty typical for this area. Definitely worth stopping in because you never know what you might find. Staff was very kind and helpful. Will come by again in a few weeks!”
“Upon entering the store I sensed a more mature vibe, but I gave it some time and looked around thoroughly. Here are my thoughts (and I ran a consignment shop before myself):
-some of the racks are a little too packed. Customers have a hard time looking at merchandise if they can’t see it
-prices are a little on the higher side, but you have to look at the area/demographics, and if you really look you can find a deal
-the shoes are pretty good, I found a Stuart Weitzman wedges for $60ish.
-friendly staff, the young girl working there was chill and helpful
I bought a Tablots 100% cotton button down for $28. I’m happy, will visit again.
