“I had a great experience with Southgate Vet. This is my first winter living seasonally in FL with my dog and when she needed a sick visit, I called a couple of different offices. Lorrie was very pleasant and helpful to get me connected and schedule a next day appointment. Jorge was very thorough taking my dog’s medical history and clearly communicated next steps. My dog was seen by Dr. Casey, who has wonderful energy and clearly stated options and the treatment plan. Happy to be connected to a great office!”

“Truly a wonderful animal hospital: transparent, caring, and polite! They helped with my daughter’s young cat who had just given birth to kittens a few days ago. I rushed in holding the mother cat as she was giving birth, with the first kitten literally landing in my hand. The staff quickly took her, placed her in a safe cage with bedding, and reassured me: “She’s doing great, just take her back home, and if there are any complications, come back.” They didn’t charge me for the visit and even let us keep the cage with bedding. Such kindness and compassion mean so much, thank you!”
“They are great. From the staff to the doctors. Doctors are knowledgeable and take a lot of time answering questions abd being very thorough. They dont push tests your pet doesn't need like some clinics that just want to make more bucks. I would highly recommend this clinic for your fur babies.”

“Dr Kirsch and the entire staff are phenomenal. Our 5 yr old black lab has been struggling with a lame rear leg. MRI, x-rays showed no issues but a nodule in his hip. Diagnosis was not comprehensive as no seen issue that pin pointed his lamness. We took the nodele out, Dr Kirsch did all he could, carring, very, very thurough and went the extra mile for us. Thor is still recovering and working through rehab. 100% confidence in Dr Kirsch and staff.”

“Yesterday was one of the hardest days of our lives — we had to say goodbye to our beloved Yoshi, who had been with us for 16 wonderful years. I had made an appointment at Banfield Pet Hospital, where we had been loyal clients for all those years. But the night before, Yoshi was in so much pain that none of us could sleep. His cries were unlike anything we had ever heard from him — heartbreaking, gut-wrenching sounds that tore us apart. When I called Banfield that morning, they could hear him crying in the background, yet still told me they could not see him any earlier than his scheduled appointment at 2:30 p.m.
We couldn’t let him suffer any longer. In desperation, I called Palmer Ranch Animal Clinic, where I had taken Yoshi once before. Even though they were so busy, they immediately told us to bring him in so he wouldn’t have to endure any more pain. That alone was a blessing we will never forget.
From the moment we arrived, every single person treated us with the deepest compassion, empathy, and respect. They gave us time, space, and comfort through the most devastating goodbye, and they never once made us feel rushed. Their kindness, their gentle way of guiding us, and, yes, their generosity in not charging us for the euthanasia — all of it together left us beyond words. They showed us that they truly care not only for animals, but also for the families who love them.
After Yoshi passed, I called Banfield to cancel his wellness plan. To our shock, they told us he still had four months left in the plan and that, “out of courtesy,” they would only continue charging us until October. At that moment, the difference between these two places could not have been clearer: one saw us as a number, the other treated us like family.
From yesterday forward, Palmer Ranch Animal Clinic has gained two loyal customers, because we still have another dog, Jazz, who deserves the same kind of care and compassion. To anyone reading this review: this is the only place you should take your animals. They are completely and utterly out of this world — kind, loving, and truly dedicated to both pets and their families.
