“Dr Paxson and her wonderful staff took care of my 2 beautiful dogs for the past 11 years through many allergy issues, Cushings disease, ear infections, skin issues, arthritis, spondylosis, etc. Treatment for large dogs can be expensive. Dr Paxson always presented us with options for care at different price levels and explained the effectiveness. 3 years ago, the day came to put my mastiff mix down. She was 185 pounds. Dr Paxson knew we couldn’t move her. She was gracious enough to drive to our condo in Bradenton and help our Zeda cross the rainbow bridge peacefully. She called a pet ambulance for pick up afterwards since it is near impossible to move a dog of that weight. Five star ⭐️ care and kindness. Last week it was time for our second dog. Dr Paxson had been talking us through the last 6 months as to when is the right time to make that decision as it’s so tough to acknowledge when it’s your beloved dog. Dr Paxson will take phone calls and make phone calls to follow up after office visits. I can’t say enough about the kindness, care and expertise of this Vet office and its staff. If you need a caring, wonderful veterinarian- don’t hesitate to make an appointment with Dr Paxson!”

“We have been a happy client of Brandt for 5 years for our fur baby Nala. They always took great care of our pup. My wife called the clinic with concern of odd behavior, the clinic accommodated our pup with a quick response. As the exam went on, they did what they needed to do with testing and analysis. We heard them say she has was making everyone smile with her singing to the other pups at the clinic. Unfortunately we had a make a tough decision today that was very heart breaking. They made Nala feel comfortable as she was smiling for the very last time. Today, our pup crossed the rainbow bridge and is enjoying her sun bathing while sniffing every single flower.Brandt, thank you so much for the outstanding care for our loved ones. The genuine care that the staff and doctor give to our kids is what we hope for and sadly usually don't receive.My cats hate getting put in a crate. Even worse, going for a mysterious car ride, freaking out the whole time... wondering: "where is she taking me, what did I do wrong, what's happening, get me out of this thing, please mommy, I'll behave I promise!"My one cat, Bobek, in particular, has extreme anxiety in the car. He seems on the verge of a mental breakdown. But, once we get in the building, he zips it and calms right down. Stops meowing, starts breathing normally and relaxes. He knows and remembers it as a safe place. Not to mention, he gets a ton of attention, lots of petting, scratches and of course his favorite, treats! And Mom and dad are happy, because he gets treated for what he came in for, with the utmost care and kindness we could hope for. I couldn't ask for anything else.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ”

“This animal clinic is by far the best I have visited with my dog in the last 12 years of her life! The people are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. They truly do put animals first and that’s extremely reassuring, as I believe they are a little larger than many other vets I’ve been to. I was so amazed when my dogs growth burst and was bleeding on a Friday evening and I called the office to get an appointment, the receptionist answered the phone at 5:29pm, when they close at 5:30. She was very patient and worked with me to get my dog scheduled asap with no irritation that I had called when she likely could have been walking out the door! My dog has seen both Dr Dunn and Dr Smith and both are very warm and you can feel they care about animals and listened to my concerns. There isn’t enough room to compliment the entire staff I’ve interacted with. It’s so rare that every interaction with every member of a team is a warm and pleasant one! “We were on vacation and Barkley developed a hematoma on the inside of his ear. We got in the next day and had it addressed and bandaged by Dr. T. He was very generous with his time while discussing Barkey's history (had records), and his experiences with these cases (options). He was also very caring and thorough examination was had. After pulling out the blood, he wrapped it up, and said the hope was that it would stop filling again. Consequently it did refill and we had to have it drained and wrapped two more times. We were able to get in each time quickly. The office staff, techs, as well as Dr. S. were SUPER nice and efficient that made each visit positive. The charges were very reasonable! Thank You!!!
