“Dollar General has updated their stores. They also have cute decorative rugs, picture frames with cute saying on them. Cute simple. Personally I would rather shop here then Walmart. But just like anywhere else you have to compare and watch how much you spend. lake Washington store has huge cold and freezer section isle are set up to where u find what u need.”
“I shop Dollar tree on a regular basis.
The stock is well kept. The associates at the register are always friendly.
My one suggestion would be , more open registers.
And I do like how the Dollar tree is always upgrading their selection. I just purchased two cutting boards . They're small , but fit my need perfect. Using for trivet.

“This is a large Goodwill with lots of selction. Prices are rising to rediculous heights. Used clothes are becoming more expensive than new ones. For example Home Depot sells new Christmas trees non sale price for $49-69 (the cheaper ones of course) I've seen Goodwill price used trees in awful shape for $100+. Does anyone realize these huge fancy buildings cost a fortune to build? Fancy building = crazy prices for customers. Staff is very pleasant at this location. Department Stores like Macys clothes go out of style by the end of season and can often snag 60-90% off end of season sales. Used clothes should be cheaper than New ones! Staff searches ebay prices and tries to list at top price. There is only so much you can inflate a disposable margarine container to. Personally I think those are recycling. Non proffit only in the facy they spend it on big salaries, modern new buildings and the like. I much prefer Hospice or a local non chain store to donate to.”
“Weekend Evening Staff is great but the store policy is quite insulting. I was told to put my backpack at the counter? Do you tell people to put their purses at the counter.? Do you think people need a backpack to steal? Not sure what your reasoning is but I can't trust a business that doesn't trust its customers.”
“Just pick up certain items at DG a couple times a month. Some items have a better price than Walmart, but most are higher.
Use the coupons and shop on Saturdays. Saturday coupon is 5 dollars off if you buy 25.00.
Don't forget to check the size of the item. Price may be .50 cents less, but item may be 4 ounces less.
DG used to cost less than Walmart, but now DG has changed the size of packaging.”

I was frustrated trying to add a new card to my Google wallet and After having to go out to my car and try to figure ot out.. at my second attempt with a different cashier by the name of Joe (I think was his name, with a beard) he was able to actually tell me why I was being declined and assisted me with a successful transaction.. saved me time and prevented an panic attack. “I would like to give a shout out to one of the Dollar General staff, who goes by the name Sky. He was kind, courteous and super helpful. He even went out of his way to help us get an online coupon to help us save a little bit of money. The reason I'm giving a 4 start review is because the other Dollar General staff was nasty when I returned the bathroom key.”
“I am a huge believer in the energy that you put out into the world comes back to you whether it be negative or positive is up to you. Today I had an experience at this Dollar General I absolutely reinforced that belief for me. Today I met Sheila, who is an employee at this particular Dollar General. When I came in, I was looking for something in particular, and I asked her if she might know where it might be. She immediately stop what she was doing, and came to help me even going to ask another employee if there was another place in the store that it could be located. I complimented her on her hat. She had a lovely black hat with a rose on it. Then I went about my shopping. I found more cute things than I probably should have, lol In addition, of course, to the one item that I had gone in for. Sometimes, you have to let the dollar store tell you what you need, lol! When I arrived at checkout, I was chatting away with Miss Sheila when she walked away and was gone for a couple of minutes I wondered to myself where she had gone or if everything was OK. When she came back… I was just blown away. She had stepped away to ask her manager if it was OK to give me some discounts on some of the items I had purchased. I was so incredibly touched and surprised that it almost brought me to tears. We chatted for a couple of moments while she was ringing me up about positivity and gratitude and kindness and grace. Hands-down, the best experience I have ever had in a store. Thank you, Sheila for being one of those people that brings light and everyone’s life that you touch. ❤️”
