“The staff at this hotel are top notch. So friendly, kind, welcoming and professional. Breakfast for me was just what I needed (hard boiled eggs and some kind of sausage every day). The gym is very small but has just enough to get a good workout in. The rooms are really, really outdated - that's my only negative. A fresh coat of neutral paint, better electrical outlets and brighter lighting, and maybe updated bathroom fixtures would go a long way - but it won't keep me from staying here. Everything was super clean and worked fine. I have a student down the road at USF and I will definitely make this my home base when I visit.”

“It was all neat "but" it didn't have the right kind of glare as a real 'suburban boulevard themed' vintage motel ????? I was expecting.But the subject with Motel 301 is I fathom this one as just that of an actual "fisher creek buckhorn inspired" resort which is now not my type but thanks for everything.”

“I was here at the Hilton today for an event we had and the employee's were very polite and respectful, gave clear instructions where to go. The event room was clean and well set up for what we needed it for. Although I was not here to stay in a room, the place itself was clean and very elegant. I do recommend coming here.”

“Lauren was great at check in. The room was clean and the water was hot. I used wifi for a good portion of the night and it was a little slow, but I was able to get everything accomplished. If I were in this area and needed a hotel I would return here. The only issues I had was the light over the couch kept blinking. Also breakfast wasn’t that great. They had biscuits and gravy, however the gravy was the texture of a warm glue. Last but not least they need to check a few of the doors. They slam instead of having a “soft close.” Hard to rest when other patrons didn’t have any manners not to let it slam. Overall, minor and I would return.”

“We have stayed in this hotel twice now and it is a very, very nice hotel with very nice, friendly, smiling staff. The breakfast is delicious, with many choices. The room was spacious, clean and the beds are comfy. We will definitely stay here again.”
“I did not officially stay here, I unfortunately had car issues and had to pull into parking lot and wait for a tow. I walked in front lobby to advise front desk and apologize. Tee was amazing with her smile and attitude even though I was not staying she was so nice and helpful (even kept eye on car when I was gone) if I was needing to stay anywhere I would pick there because of her and her amazing service.”

“This is my "go-to" hotel when I work in Tampa. It is like a mini resort with a nice pool area and an adjoining Latin restaurant with good food. It's near I-75 and very convenient.I have been staying here since 2007 and it has only got better with the renovation a few years ago. The rooms are spacious and clean. The water pressure and a/c are great. They did not cut corners on the reno.What really sets this location apart is that one is greeted by attractive, professional and competent women at the front desk who allow early access without any problem. It is very much appreciated since my schedule is different than most. Keep up the good work ladies!”
“The employees try hard here and seem very nice. The food is decent and there is effort in the service but better training is needed. The soup comes out without a spoon so the waitress has to go in the back to fetch a spoon. Wouldn’t it be better if the cook put the soup up on the counter with a spoon or at least have the spoons available at the counter for the waitress.”

“Wendys is next door, mcdonalds is across the street. I love the location. The rooms are nice and big with big wall mounted TV. Sliding glass door and a front door is really nice and makes it feel like home. I will definitely stay again!!!Rooms: Large rooms, full tub with bathroom sink and toilet being in its own room. There is a safe and microwave and fridge which is in its own designated area. Love it!!! Highly recommendedNearby activities: Shopping mall across the street. Lots 9f food choices”

“They just don't make them like this anymore. Classic red brick construction, and lovely landscape featuring many large live oaks. The hotel was exceptionally clean and provided great customer service. The pool area was well kept with a variety of comfortable furniture nestled in more lovely landscaping under an oak canopy. This property also has nice areas for indoor and outdoor events.”
“This place may seem sketchy from the outside, or because of the neighborhood BUT it exceeded my expectations! Friendly customer service. Always very attentive making sure we are comfortable and satisfied with our stay! The rooms are spacious and clean. TV is a good size, mini fridge is perfect and also has a microwave. There is security which also Makes me feel safer. You will def enjoy your stay I know I did and will definitely stay here again! “Decent roadside motel, they had most of the basic things you'd expect from a place at this price. Rooms were ok, clean enough, shower worked very well so that's a plus. They don't give you a mini fridge, but the TV was actually pretty new. Overall it's good enough for an overnight stay in a roadtrip.”
“$96 for Saturday night in Tampa is super cheap and even though the toilet was dirty, I would stay here again because it's close to Hard Rock Tampa, parking is included, the room is cold, I did not see any bugs (yet), and check-out time is 11 AM. I just want to Uber to the K-Pop rave and have a place to sleep. My standards are low and so is the room price.”

“It has all the level of quality I've come to expect from a Hampton Inn however... The reason we chose this location over others is because they offered an electric charging station.When we arrived (mid-rain as expected in Tampa) the only charging station plug (Tesla) was in need of repair as it had exposed wires and the cable itself was resting in about an inch of water. One would expect it to be in better condition if it's the only charger on site.Update: After my initial posting with photos the on-site staff came out that evening and repaired the charger to the best of anyone's ability. Earned the extra gold star from my original 4/5.”
