“I stayed on the second floor in a really nice end room. Fortunately also very close to the elevator. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable except for one thing, the air conditioner worked. I have only 3 complaints. One is the strange convoluted way their lights work, and the other is I did not know that they were very high beds. I find very high beds to be quite uncomfortable. You can't sit on the edge of them, it makes it difficult to get into them, evidently they have regular height beds on the first floor. Next time I'm there I will book a handicap room, the toilets in the regular rooms are the lower ones with nothing to help you get off of the toilet at all. No grab rails or anything to grab a hold of to help.
I did not participate in the breakfast or the Monday evening social. But the area looked good and the breakfast smelled great.
Everyone at the front desk was very personable and helpful. My son also stayed at the same hotel And he had a suite that worked out great for his family of five.
Bottom line, if you are young with no problems getting in and out of a high bed or off of a low toilet, book any room you want they all looked great. If you are a little older and don't like high beds, which I can't understand is even a thing anymore at a hotel, because it's absolutely 100% just for looks, and not for comfort. Anyway if you're a little older, book on the first floor where I am told the beds are a normal height. If you need a little assistance getting up from a low toilet, then I would book a handicap room.”
“Now don't get me started with the bathroom the door would not close. And when I was in the shower the shower door was see-through, so people could walk in and see me. Location 3 stars but there were a lot of parking spaces. Service 5 stars they were so nice to me.rooms 2 Stars A/C soo loud. And when all the lights were off it was dark very dark. The bed was amazing ? there were two beds. the beds were nice and made for me. very comfortable. Otherwise we had to spray everything down so we would not get germs.”
“Outstanding room! Very clean and pet friendly. Complimentary breakfast was good, and that lady hustled to keep everything full and the area clean. Great location, easy access to the interstate and a lunch and dinner restaurant right next door.”

“It was really quiet. The breakfast was great, plenty of options. I loved how close it was to any amenities you would need. Right next to the interstate, but you didn't hear it which was nice.”

“Clean rooms at a fair price, a decent breakfast, and a nice little pool. The location is a little out of the way, but near I4, so that could be handy for travelers.”

“Great property. Location was perfect for our stay. Hotel was clean and updated. Staff was extremely nice. Asked for a couple extra towels (looking for 2) and was handed 5! Our room had a king bed and a queen bed with lots of space to walk around and feel comfortable. It was nice to have Breakfast available -come and go- yogurt, fruit, toast, oatmeal, eggs, etc.”

“Had a great experience at Hyatt Place I was there for one night after my flight was delayed and Riara was very pleasant and made sure I was very comfortable. I’m a travel agent and I am from Lakeland so I’m always looking for places. I can support in my hometown and this experience was phenomenal. Also, the room was very comfortable and clean and I really enjoyed my time for one night lol. I loved that they had a bar that was open late and also serves food which I thought was great. I will definitely be back again.”
“Such a great stay! From the second I walked in, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very well kept.
Iman and Lexi at the front desk were amazing, so friendly, helpful, and professional. They made everything easy and made me feel right at home.
Definitely coming back!”
“I have stayed at many hotels/motels and my husband and I both agree although outdated this is the most comfortable place, the staff doesn't allow any drama or unregistered guests which I really like. And the rooms are clean and huge. Location is good and close to everything. I really like this place.”

“For the price that you pay for a week for a few dollars more, you can go and stay in a really nice upgraded hotel and more than likely have breakfast included. This place has regular hotel gases row as extended. Stay people laundry room rooms are dirty walkways are never cleaned or pressure cleaned. They’re dirty doors have been pride open with some kind of bar of some sort that’s why these doors are jammed the way they are all the ACs are old and nasty floors. Do not get cleaned very well. Elevator floor is always dirty. Sometimes a plumbing works sometimes it doesn’t sometimes the lights work sometimes they don’t can’t even get their signs out front of their building and their regular sign. It says motel six on it to work so if you’re driving down the interstate, you wouldn’t even know it was there so overall service rating room and everything I give it two stars.”
“Room 222. Offered large fridge with freezer and tv and microwave all good features. Bed was comfty. The only issues i had were the window was only covered by blinds with a very bright street light outside which kept the room semi lit . Recommend adding a black out curtain. The ac/ heater was loud and vent was dirty ( needs to be wiped of all dust . I ran my fingers on it and caked with dust clumps”
“I have spent time in Lakeland as I have family in the area, and have seen the hotel many times. This was my first time staying there as a guest. From the very beginning, the experience was excellent. The valet attendant was very nice even after we told him we wanted to self park. He explained where we can park and provided us with a parking pass. He greeted us every time we passed by him. The front desk ladies were also very nice. They gave us a cookie and a glass of champagne for the holidays. It was a nice touch. We stayed in a corner room with a Lakeview. The room was modern, clean, with a nice view of Lake Mirror. We had read reviews about the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. This is true. We could hear one of our neighbors on the phone as well as the ambulance or loud cars on the street. It was not a large negative as we know it is an older hotel. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well! The shower had good water pressure. I only wish the bathroom had more counter space as I have a lot of products ;) but again, not a deterrent negative. We look forward to staying there again. The hotel is also very centrally located in downtown Lakeland, close to small shops, bars and eateries.”
