“It's a nice place in a good location. Staff is friendly and helpful. As a Hilton Honors member I was a little disappointed that I wasn't upgraded to a suite like I've been at every other Hilton property. The standard room's are smaller than I expected, but considering they are celebrating their 100th birthday this year I'm sure things were much different back then. I travel to Lakeland monthly for work and will give them a second chance. If I I'm not able to get an upgrade I'll probably start staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in the future. Nothing against the property, just expect and enjoy the perks of being a long time Hilton Honors member. Oh, and was a little disappointed that the room didn't have a microwave. I'm sure it's not a deal breaker for many people, not really for me either, but after a long day of traveling due to canceled and delayed flights it would have been nice to be able to heat up my food before I ate it. Don't listen to me though, there a lot of great reviews, just not sure it's the right property for me.”

He will fix everything we need on an order and get it in quickly and deliver it to our office asap! “My son and i stayed here while he was attending the FL Baseball Armory camp. There are very few hotels that get full stars across the board from me but our stay here was superb. Wish we could stay longer. Room and bathroom were very clean, staff was all very friendly and helpful... and the breakfast was the best part really. Hotel was quiet and i felt very safe here. Kitchen in room was very nice, though we didn't use any of it. Highly recommend and would choose to stay here again in a heartbeat next time we come to town.”

“New Hotel was nice rooms. They have a full breakfast eggs, biscuits and gravy sausage. I think I saw bagels and some other things and coffee. All employees or seem to call. Employees have been helpful and polite. I heard some things and read some things and it wasn't in a good neighborhood. It's just in an industrial neighborhood it's not a bad area I'm 63 years old, female and I went outside by myself at night and felt safe.”

“Excellent service, very nice and helpful staff. My room was clean. It just needs a few updates. The plug-ins are wearing out so the blow dryer and my charger didn't stay plugged in. The microwave didn't work. The mattress and lights could use to be updated.I liked my view of the pool.Nearby activities: Next to the Lakeland center, perfect for events.Within a few miles or minutes of excellent restraunts.Food & drinks: Had a nice breakfast with plenty of choices. Offered milk, juice, water, coffee and tea. Hot, cold cereal, eggs, sausage, bacon, French toast, waffles, yogurt, fruit, bagels, donuts, toast.It was all good.”

“Mediocre but generally clean, the AC vent was in decent condition, which a lot of hotels fail to keep the mold away.Slowest Wi-Fi speed at a hotel, up to around 5 Mbps. It’s been a long time since I last see a website load pictures this slow.There’s no filtered water in gym, which most other hotels do provide.”

“The hotel is currently being updated. Great front desk clerk. Walking distance to restaurants. Very small selection for free breakfast. They ran out of milk, and the lady said there's 5 minutes left I'm not getting more milk. Mind you, there were 8 people eating & a young mom that had just come down with 2 small kids. I guess they didn't get cereal. They only had boiled eggs, which was surprising, no meat. A little kindness goes a long way. It was a nice little stay.”

“Everything about this "hotel" is disgusting. The lady working the front desk in the evening was the only nice thing. Garbage everywhere. Literally mucous smeared on the wall of the elevator, used dental floss and q-tips and other trash in the elevator. First room smelled strongly of cigarettes so I had to switch rooms. The second room still had a foul odor but not as bad. This whole place is dilapidated. The free breakfast was some English muffins, cereal and half empty orange juice carton. Each time I left the property and returned, my room key didn't work and the do not disturb sign removed from the door. Woman at the front desk said the kids who live there steal them. This place was filthy and I felt completely unsafe and uncomfortable staying here.Rooms: Dirty, foul smelling, unkemptSafety: Do not stay here.”
