“Dr Howe is saving my dog, Nellie's life. My dog had an autoimmune disease... like lockjaw. So scary. We are 9 months into treatment and Nellie is doing great. Hopefully a full remission next month and then a nerve wracking period where we watch for and hope there's no relapse!”

“I had great service for my dog and cat. I got lab test for my dog for old age. And I will not go anywhere else. No surgeries or anything. Reasonable prices. I would pay more because of how much great care for pets. My old cat got help being dehydrated. Nail cut and check ups mostly.”
“They went out of their way to get our dog in on a urgent emergency and still attend their full schedule by working back and forth with clients. Very loving people that work there. They even trimmed his nails without putting him to sleep. Other vets wouldn't touch him unless they put him done. Yes I tried trainig and still haven't gotten there yet.”

“Best vet practice in Hernando County - highly underrated on Yelp. Dr. Olivia (one of the newer vets as opposed to both Dr. Wempes) is alway patient, level-headed and takes the time to listen to my concerns and give appropriate professional advice when needed. The office is always clean and tidy. Recently, my 10 month old golden retriever was able to be seen the same day for an emergency appointment because they believed she may have a blockage from eating something she shouldn't have. The front desk receptionist, Jayden, is always very kind, patient and doesn't interrupt when you tell her your concerns. I've also had great success using their app to book normal appointments and request refills of my puppy's monthly flea/tick/heart worm preventative which makes that process easier on me. Lastly, my puppy has medical insurance and their office is willing to assist with insurance claims and printing invoices so I am appreciative of that as well. I am extremely grateful for this vet practice and can't recommend them enough.”
“Brought my 6mo old puppy in... She was vomiting and had diarrhea... Turned out to be parvo... They did all they could but the female vet, (forgot her name it was really stressful) she was the one who I felt truly cared, she understood what the dilemma is when you can't afford $800 per night at a emergency clinic so gave us all she could to manage her at home... Sub q fluids, antibiotics, even the needles.... I've been to some vets... But she's the only one who I felt was sincere and didn't judge me for not mortgaging my house for our dog.... Truly a awesome vet.... Thanks again for what you did for us... BTW my puppy is still fighting the parvo but would be dead already if not for her....”

“I took my dog Harper there yesterday. What a really refreshing experience. Everyone is professional and prompt with care, no high pressure list of tests needed, beautiful new facility. I was honestly a little nervous with such a huge, beautiful facility that the bill would reflect higher prices but the prices are reasonable and the experience was truly perfect! Nice job Kind Animal Care for finally giving those of us with pets a place we truly feel has the best interest of our pets at heart and not just making money!!”
