“This convenience store has a little bit of everything. The owner, Sam, personally goes out and finds unique items to stock, so the selection is always random, useful, and interesting. You can find kitchen essentials, pajamas, perfume, jewelry, lightbulbs, pet food, fresh veggies, milk, cheese, snacks, and a huge variety of drinks, sodas, and juices. Sam is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the shop has a very friendly neighborhood feel. On weekends they sell Indian food, and it’s genuinely excellent. We tried the samosas, chickpea curry, and vada pav, and everything was delicious. It’s one of those places where you walk in for one thing and somehow leave with dinner, a drink, and three other things you didn’t know you needed.”

I’d imagine they deserved that as he’s always been awesome to me. Most likely that person didn’t pay as they have a new system that scans your items. Anyway I came on here to leave a positive review for him and then edited this after I saw that review. My initial 5 star: The older gentleman who works here is always incredibly friendly. I don’t know if he’s the manager but the rest of the staff is always so happy as well. Several men and women here that I’ve truly appreciated. “Holy schmoley! My experience at this store was one for the books! It all started when I walked in the store and the young man working on the floor, Zack, welcomed me in and asked if I needed any help. I have a speech impediment and am an immigrant learning English, so initially it was hard to tell him what I needed help with. Eventually Zack opted for a translator app which was very smart and helped me right away! Will definitely be transferring my prescriptions to here from the CVS down the street which were very rude and unproductive especially in the pharmacy! Not to mention, the store smells terrible! Nonetheless, gracias from Guatemala!”

“We have enjoyed the store since it’s opening. We love their chicken tenders and Cuban sandwiches. Yesterday we went again to enjoy a Cuban sandwich but when they gave it to me it was changed. The staff member, James told us the chef changed the recipe recently. I said if they had changed the picture and the recipe on the order screen then I wouldn’t have order it. The meat was cold and they changed the bread. Why, did you mess with a great recipe that people know? James said if you don’t like it I can make you another sandwich. He is the most kind and caring employee I’ve met at your stores.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
