“The staff brought friendly, attentive, customer care to a new level. The staff is the reason we'll be back. Thank you for giving us such a memorable vacation.”
“This was such an amazing experience. Robin gave the best service and knew what to recommend. The food was absolutely delicious and so delicately plated. My husband and I agreed that this restaurant has the best she crab bisque we have had to this date! Everything was so delicious!! Definitely recommend this place & would come again and again!”
“Perfect for a quiet, couples retreat. Excellent staff and the rooms are great. Well worth the stay. We will definitely stay here again for our next St Augustine visit.”

“I was there with my family and our Newfoundlands this past Thursday-Sunday and was very happy with my stay! We were there with the Newfoundland Club of Florida for our annual meeting and club participation in the Christmas Parade and it went so smoothly! The new owner is very nice and treated everyone in our club very kindly! Would 100% stay here again next year. Bonus that there's a coffee shop and dessert shop within walking distance! Great weekend!”

“Boutique style hotel with a cool retro vibe. Easy walk across the Bridge of Lions to downtown St Augustine. Close to many restaurants and bars. Easy parking. Clean comfortable room, great outdoor pool, nice bar and a “cooked to order” breakfast area. Erick at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!”
“My husband and I had a great trip and it was even better getting to stay at this amazing bed and breakfast! Service, hospitality, breakfast…all amazing. It felt like home away from home. Can’t recommend it enough!”
“I am staying here right now. Walking in, the guy at the desk didn't even smile at my wife and I. I had to let her deal with him. So snarky. Then went to the bar later andthe girl there didnt find us registered and woudn't help. Then when I Called the front desk the girl hung up on me when I complained. I'm a disabled veteran Officer that served in the Gulf War and do not understand the rudeness of the staff. Valet was very good guy. I feel that the lgbt thing is off the charts here I cannot believe that the front desk hung up on a veteran. One more slight and I call my congressman.
Rooms: Great rooms lousy entitled staff.”
“This is our favorite place to stay in St. Augustine. We’ve been coming to the area for many years and this place is just perfect. Rooms are clean and modern, staff is helpful & friendly and parking is free!! We travel with our dog & the staff treat him so well. I recommend this place to anyone!”

“Casa Monica is in a great location in downtown St. Augustine. The service was great, from the valet to the restaurant/bar. Thank you to Jake, Matt and Yarrick for all of your help in valet during our stay. Rona and Molly in the bar were also super accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait to come back soon.”

“Stay here! I am a big fan of the Best Western franchise and love the amenities offered. The staff was pleasant. The room was clean. So this motel is obviously a travel court that has been up-dated well. There was no laundry available. The rooms are small but comfortable.
There was no coffee prepared at night and only a grab-and-go breakfast in the lobby. I can understand the breakfast because there is no place to prepare it, but I was disappointed that there was no coffee after hours.
They do give vouchers for a modest breakfast at Mary’s Harbor View Cafe next door. This is an excellent little restaurant that has the charm of a locals place and a view of the bay across the street. If you choose not to use the voucher for the Best Western breakfasts, they still have a fantastic menu with a discount. The full order of biscuits and gravy was piled high on the plate and everything looked delicious.
All said, I would be glad to stay at the BW Historic Bayfront again. Because the location is across the street from the bay and the Castillo, and a block from the historic district shopping and restaurants, the location can’t be beat. Bring plenty of clothes and a big carafe of coffee.
Stay here!
Nearby activities: The National Monument, the sea wall is across the street. There are so many restaurants and unique shops just around the corner too.
Walkability: Lots of restaurants and specialty shopping a block away. Water views and it’s just across the street from the citadel makes this the best spot in town.
Noteworthy details: Water views and nostalgic vibe.”
“Perfect place on the beach. Location was perfect. Every member of the team was delightful. Food at the restaurant was excellent. Room was clean and spacious. Will definitely want to stay there again.”
“We stayed at the Embassy Suites for a night to attend a concert at the Amphitheater and had a great time. The room was spotless and the property was a joy to stay in. It was a short drive to historic St Augustine and very close to the Amphitheater. It was right on the beach. The evening reception was good and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The pool was amazing. The only criticism is for parking and elevators. They force you to pay for valet parking. There is no self-parking option. Also, there was only one set of elevators on the far opposite side of our room. A hotel that size should have a second set of elevators on both wings of the property. I still gave it 5 stars because those were minor compared to everything else.”
“Stayed for three nights and a fantastic location.
It really is a very busy wine and cocktail bar with food as an all day breakfast, with hotel rooms a third factor. But, fully enjoyed even if room was a bit tired however location was fantastic for walking all the old district.
Even though cars parked off site, very convenient and easy to find.
But a very busy place from breakfast to late. We had no need to find breakfast any whee else, it was very good with good service.
Walkability: Location for the Historic district.. Excellent”
“When Booking this I’m going to be honest the reviews were not great. But do to last minute plans I picked up the phone and called. I was greated by a Hello. No Good afternoon this is the inn at Charlotte. But I was talking to a very informative person. I told her my needs and was giving all information. I arrived at 10 pm and do to traffic. they leave at 6pm. I was able to check in via!! Keep in mind these are a 3 star hotel not a 5 star. The building is very old but is in great shape. My fiancé absolutely loved it. She loves old rustic charm! History and rustic is her thing. The location is 1000 STARS. The fire works where amazing you could see them from the porch. We had a situation and they addressed it within minutes!! If you require a front desk person this place is not for you. They own a few of these inns and bed and breakfasts. They remind me more like an air b&b we don’t require any services for us it was amazing!
Let’s talk about the bed…..I tried to stay in it as much as possible it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Super clean bed the rooms smell great. Aside from that old house smell that my fiancé loved. Our room had a jacuzzi tub in it. Shower was great. There is a very small mirror in the bathroom. Not on the wall but on the self. But the room has two mirrors in it!! We were in and out on the weekend of July 4th the inn was fully booked we didn’t run into many guests. We didn’t eat breakfast at all but there was a diner around the corner right on the bay!!!!! They also had a very nice bar within the INN but there wasn’t any staff there but it was super cute. Door were shut while we were there!
They are a 3 star hotel and in my opinion of always staying at 5 star accommodation they did everything that we needed. I went for a rustic stay and in my opinion we got that in room number 6. It was located in the main house on the first floor it was a suite it had great space and easy access in and out of the Inn”

“Rooms are clean but parking becomes very difficult because a “vintage car business”operates on the premises and parks its vehicles in the hotel's lot, leaving guests without sufficient parking spaces.”

“Definitely ascetically the nicest Hampton I have stayed in. The $20 parking fee for an open lot not that close to historic downtown is a bit much. Feels a bit like a money grab for a hotel that’s already pretty pricey. Other than that it’s your standard Hampton, comfortable beds, clean, decent free breakfast, just a little higher end feeling.”

“Regular hotel room. Clean. Only thing was the gap at the bottom of the door for loss of a/c and a lizard came through. Breakfast was well stocked and clean. Good room especially for the price I feel. A little further from town than I’d wanted but it worked out well.”
“Beautiful location I wish there was also an indoor pool. The girl at the desk in the morning was very kind and helpful she sent the Maintenance to our room immediately to fix the tv. They made sure we also had clean towels without us asking.”
“Wonderful location, breakfast and most importantly service! Everyone was friendly and helpful during our entire stay. Loved location, convenient location to beach, Publix, restaurants and downtown! Indoor pool was a bonus!”
