“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I took my cat, Tong, to see Dr. Russo after a previous bad experience at the Greenlight ER in Orlando that same morning.

My cat was having serious trouble breathing, including sneezing and wheezing, for several days at this point. He also stopped eating. I called West End that afternoon, explained my situation, and they told me to bring him right over.

Upon arriving, the staff was immediately super helpful and attentive to Tong. The Tech (Ashley?), was immediately loving and caring to my Tong. She was so funny, and made me feel so relaxed while we waited for the doctor.

Once Dr. Russo arrived, she immediately began an EXTREMELY thorough examination of Tong. Checked his mouth, nose, throat, heard, lungs, etc. She then suggested we do X-Rays to see what might be preventing him from breathing normally. After the X-Rays, she returned to the room and informed me his lungs were clear, and no fluid or abnormalities were detected. At that point, she mentioned he was likely suffering from some inflammation of his airways. She mentioned that with cats, inflammation is very common, and the main focus would be getting him to breathe normally.

All Tong's vital signs were great. She said his heart and lungs sounded great. She prescribed a steroid, an antibiotic, and an herbal breathe easy supplement. The Tech showed me how to administer his first dose, as I had never needed to do that before! The next day, he immediately started to breathe more normally! With each passing hour, he has greatly improved. I am so grateful for Dr. Russo's attentive care and treatment, and I will gladly recommend her and her practice to anyone with pets!”

I was absolutely panicked when we brought Bandit in, and from the moment we arrived, the staff helped ease that panic and immediately stepped in to help him. They treated us with so much kindness, compassion, and patience during what was an incredibly scary and stressful situation.

We were the last patients in the building, and not once did we feel like a bother, rushed, or like they were just trying to get us out the door. They took their time, listened to us, explained things, and treated Bandit with genuine care.

On top of the amazing care, their customer service was exceptional and their pricing was very reasonable. In a moment when we were scared and overwhelmed, they made us feel heard, cared for, and supported.
