“I had some car trouble after hitting some debris in flooding. I pulled into the Burg and was immediately met with wonderful hospitality and service. The manager Josh was helpful, asked good questions and assessed what what my problem was quickly and efficiently. I was loosing air in my tire and fast. I saw a small cut in the tire. He showed me and even bigger spot and knew the tire was gonna need more service and likely was going to need to get replaced. I was prepared to do the tire change in the parking lot. But they took care of everything free of charge. Manny the mechanic took the car in and even rotated the tires for me so the spare was on the back in a much safer location which I wouldn’t have known how to do. It was a quick wait while they got the tires swapped. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. There are games and activities for kiddos and plenty of Pepsi stocked for fans of the soda. They also had water and coffee and hot cocoa. The TV takes you traveling around the world to places like Mexico, the Philippines and Spain, etc. The green shag carpet was even on brand. Behind the desk there were lots of informative videos sharing the types of services and many of them are do it for me for a headache free care of your car from basic services to complex repairs. Josh does a great job of following up with customers to make sure everything is moving along smoothly. He makes sure customers understand what going on with the car and what the problems are. He walked a customer through an oil light malfunction and what the possible problems were and he was very patient as he explained several times to a customer that wasn’t quite following what he was saying. Music is also pleasant in the wait room. Manny came back and got the tire back in the trunk. It was hands free and hassle free experience and I was simply blessed to have car trouble a hop skip and a jump from them. I can only imagine how well they take care of customers with bigger problems than mine. And if they were paying. With a fist bump I saw Manny off. Josh reminded of how to safely get home and around to not drive over 50mph which I might have done without the knowledge. Also reminded me not to drive more than 100 miles. It was a wonderful experience and for those of you in Pinellas County cannot recommend Josh and the team enough.”

Finding a shop you can actually trust with your motorcycle is a big deal, and Alex and the team have earned that trust from me. They don’t just treat the bike like another job in the shop — they take the time to listen, explain what’s going on, answer questions, and make sure you understand your options instead of talking over you or trying to sell you things you don’t need.
What stands out most to me is the level of care. Motorcycles are personal. For some of us, they represent freedom, healing, memories, and a whole lot more than just transportation, and I’ve always felt like Gorilla Tek understands that.
They’ve been patient with my projects, honest with me about what makes sense, and supportive of the vision I have for my bikes. That combination of knowledge, craftsmanship, transparency, and genuine passion for motorcycles is getting harder and harder to find.

Found CC down the street from me with great reviews, an Enterprise location next door for easy temporary rental car, and they accepted the at fault driver’s insurance (State Farm) with ease.
Seamless process with the estimate and handling the rental car coordination and insurance company. Very reasonable turnaround time on their work (small dent removal + paint), and great staff who kept me in the loop start to finish, even offering pickup and drop off for me since I lived within a close radius.

“I can’t say enough good things about Dan’s Brake World!
After picking up a friend from TPA, we were heading home to Sarasota when my 2021 Jeep Wrangler overheated. As luck would have it, the overpass I pulled over on was directly above Dan’s Brake World. I called the shop to see if they could offer any advice, and I spoke with Dan, who was incredibly helpful from the start.
My friend and I walked down the off-ramp to the shop and explained what had happened and the warning I received on my dash. Dan gave us some coolant to add to the reservoir and suggested we try to get the Jeep down to the shop. Since the engine had gotten extremely hot, we weren’t comfortable doing that on our own, so we called back. Without hesitation, Dan sent one of his guys up to help us. He quickly evaluated the Jeep and determined it was safe enough to drive to the shop.
When we arrived, Dan and his team met us out front and immediately started looking into the issue. Dan gave me his initial thoughts and recommended leaving the Jeep with them. About 20 minutes later, he called me with what he believed was the problem, gave me an estimated cost, and told me he would order the part before leaving for the weekend. I approved the repair.
Then came the best part. On Monday around noon, Dan called with good news: my Jeep was ready. The issue ended up being much simpler than originally expected—a few bolts just needed to be tightened—and the Jeep was running perfectly. Even better, the final cost was far less than the original estimate.
The honesty, kindness, and willingness to help when I was literally stranded on the side of the road meant so much. Dan and his team truly went above and beyond, and I would highly recommend Dan’s Brake World to anyone looking for a trustworthy and honest auto shop!”
