“Ollie's is a fun place to go. I definitely see it as a bargain hunters Paradise. There's really nothing fancy about the place, but they do have good deals and it's definitely worth going back to, as the merchandise seems to change very quickly. I've shopped at both the St Pete and Clearwater locations. And like them equally as well. If you're looking for some good buys especially for housewares, and everyday needs along with garden and yard type things you'll love this place.”

“My experience today and five below was absolutely amazing. I looked over and saw Annabelle helping another customer the way she assisted her was very fluent and caring. She was genuinely interested in trying to help this customer with these earphones she was buying. I stood and waited for her to ask her a question about a phone holder I was trying to purchase and she treated me with the same care of assisting me with trying to see if this phone case would fit my car the way I wanted it to .. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE 🥹”

“Kaden was the cashier who waited on me and was the only one up front. I had just run in to get a couple things because I went early for an appointment. Kayden greeted every single person that walked through the door with a pleasant hello and asked if he could assist with anything. I also observed him go down the shoe aisle to ask a woman if she was getting all the help that she needed and just overall awesome customer service that you don’t see these days. I used to be in human resources for a large retail company in the area and we would’ve given anything to have an associate like Kayden. He is definitely worth his weight in gold and I hope he gets some type of recognition. He deserves it.”

“Love this store, you can find reasonably priced items, decorations for most except never any Black History products, EVER! Lots of school supplies or birthday products. Nothing ever regarding African Americans or a few other ethnicities.”

“I spent weeks comparing furniture manufacturers before placing an order here. Glad I did because the quality difference is noticeable immediately. The drawers glide softly, the handles feel secure, and nothing looks cheaply made. Even the packaging was done properly so every item arrived without damage or scratches.”
“This is my neighborhood store and I'm here at least 3 times a week sometimes. The staff has gotten to know me and my family and even recognize my son and his likes at local restaurants, because they're your neighbors too. They're also probably overworked and underpaid. If you're just stopping in and they're a little frazzled, please don't base your impression off one visit. I guarantee regular customers would say something different because they truly care.”

“I’ve been coming to this particular DG for decades. The Reps are respectful and very helpful. I had a hard time getting the hang of digital couponing. I stopped trying because I would cause the lines to back up. People aren’t friendly if they have to wait an extra minute or two. However, a couple of Reps told me to continue trying. And if I need help from a Rep they don’t mind helping me regardless of an extra minute of wait time. So that’s exactly what I did. I’ve saved so much money thanks to those Reps. I wish I could remembered their names. The store is always clean. It smells fresh. Not like the odors that some people leave behind. I TRULY appreciate that the store doesn’t allow people to hang outside and beg for money. People don’t beg for quarters anymore. They literally beg for $2-$5. So GREAT job DG for keeping your customers feeling safe and content while shopping in your store!!!”

“I love the dollar tree! For all those little things that cost more elsewhere, like pool noodles that I use for packing, tape and other shipping supplies, greeting cards– just $1.25! I got a bag full of stuff today for less than $10”
“I gave five stars cuz Ms Topaz is the kindest best employee of all Family Dollar throughout Pinellas. Give this girl a raise and whatever hours she wants cuz she makes my night every time I see her and I come to shop here instead of the Publix up the street because I appreciate her customer service skills.
Unrelated: making people surrender their backpacks as a corporate policy is nonsense. Common sense it’s more difficult to put stuff in a pack on your back then it is to just stuff it in your pocket or down your pants. If my pack was stolen I wouldn’t be able to replace a lot of that stuff. Who would be accountable if my pack was stolen?”
“I absolutely love the manager there (Don) as well as the assistant manager (Doug) they are both very hard workers but also make me laugh on a regular basis. I use to live near the DG Don worked at before he was transferred to this store. When he was transferred I was so sad to see him go. Lucky for me I moved a couple months after he was transferred and am now by his store again. Even more luck when I heard Doug was also transferred here. I give Don and Doug a lot of credit that's for sure. There is a lot that needs to be done in that store in terms of stocking the shelves BUT you've only got so many people that work there. Ave unfortunately there are people who will work the register and then when they're not busy just stand around rather than finding something to do. Not everyone is like that but there are a few. And the reason they do it is because they know they can. They know that it's hard to get people to work these days and that they need all the help they can get. Therefore they take advantage of the situation to the FULLEST!!”

I called earlier this morning.
To see if they had magic markers..
The woman on the phone was so sweet and helpful...
Instead of going to Publix and spending $7 $8 or more.
I got a pack of Crayola magic markers for under $4.
I got two packs of red licorice for $5.
And 2 suckers on the way to check out at $1 each.
They are the BEST suckers ever..
I ended up spending under $10...
I also love the prices of their Gain laundry detergent.
Softener and dryer sheets.
Their prices are way more affordable than Publix.
