“Very lovely and cozy hotel! The entire area and the hotel make you feel like you traveled back in time to Florida in the '60s.The employees are very nice and kind. They have self-checkout and are very good about security. Doors are closed at 9 pm, you can access the hotel with a code that every guest gets, and the code is updated every couple of days.The room was very comfortable, with soft pillows, and a good mattress. Everything was very clean. We had a lot of natural light in our room and we woke up to the sound of birds. Nearby you could see peacocks walking by in the morning. The entire area has a lot of wild birds.We thought the breakfast was not going to be good based on our experience in other hotels. But, what a great surprise to find out they have a very nice breakfast with lots of options. We had waffles every day, you cook them yourself with an easy waffle machine, it was very nice.”
“My wife and I had a great baby-moon stay at this hotel. Front desk staff and room service was very friendly. They gave great food and beverage recommendations and help make our stay very relaxing. Tish- at the front desk was a highlight of our stay. Next time we are in St. Pete we will be sure to stay here again.”

“The front Desk Team were not rude, but they certainly were not the most polite either.
When your kitchen staff is WAAYYY more courteous and polite than your Front Desk Team, then you know you have a problem.
Upon checking out, I spoke with the Property manager who I asked for specifically, and relayed my concern. She said she would look into it, and get back to me. I never heard from that woman since.
I've stayed at least 8 DIFFERENT Hilton Hotels this year, and I have to say that the Restaurant staff it's typically more polite and welcoming than the Front Desk team.
Very disappointing for a HILTON.”

“The Mari Jean has a perfect location. Upon my arrival on Wednesday around 2;30 pm. I was greeted by a very professional customer service representative agent who made my check in painlessly. He then showed me to my room where he explained how to use the remotes My room was spacious and spotless with great decor and crisp bed sheets. I attended the wine and cheese hour where I met Patrick. Patrick was very outgoing with the guest who attended the happy hour and was glad to answer any questions that the guest had.. I had a problem with my stay. I found the second floor hallway and my room which was located at the end of the hall on the left along with the bar was excessively cold.In my opinion the AC needed to reflect the current temperature outside. Although after complaining to the manager on the third morning I was offered another room. But due to a back problem that I have it would have been too much to move just for the night so I checked out. The bartenders were friendly and the hotel was impeccably clean. The owner should be honored to have a group of dedicated employees representing his hotel. Mark”

“Very nice hotel in great position with an old world feel - we didn’t try the restaurants but did have in room dining which was decent . Also used the hotel e-bikes which was a great way to look around . Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size and had comfortable beds. One of the drawbacks in the room was the inability to open any windows and despite having good air con it made the room stuffy and hot when we arrived back to the room after an excursion.”
“Rooms are old and the bathrooms tiny, but it's clean and in a good location. The onsite gym has nice equipment - several treadmills and ellipticals. 1st Street Coffee is a nice little shop and serves Starbucks - their staff is so friendly and helpful!”

“I’ve spent 4 nights at SkyBeach with my husband and another couple, we were visiting from Charleston. From the moment we booked our rooms we knew we were in for something special. Naima checked us in and was so kind and even exchanged some words in Portuguese with me (I’m from Brazil). We had great rooms, our king bed was super comfy (I slept like I haven’t in a very long time). We had some more friends meet us at SkyBreach Bar and Grill, the burgers are delish! We also got to enjoy one of the 2 pools and also experienced this amazing local band, #nofilter, while there. What a concert!!!!! The staff is great, very accommodating and nice. The coffee shop on the property, Paradeco, has delicious options for a light breakfast before the day gets started. Our stay was superb and I am already planning to go back for Thanksgiving. Highly recommend not just staying but bringing friends to share the enjoyment too, and the swag they sell is so cute, I love my new hat and sweatshirt. It was a great time!!! Thank you SkyBeach for an amazing time, we sure will be back!”

Larry has been wonderful, we access our boat whenever we want or need to, and Larry is always outgoing and friendly. We have stored our boat with him for years without any issues whatsoever. “The cafe located in the reception area of the Hotel is small but cozy and open to the public. 3 beers on tap and all the usual coffee preparations are available. The porch invites you to relax and observe, while the tiny library invites conversation and curious title browsing.”
“It is a budget hotel so all I expect is just the basics and it certainly delivered that for me. The room was clean, all the appliances worked, no insects, or other surprises. This is an older hotel but with updates. I arrived late evening and the staff was great getting me registered.and into my room, and checkout was easy.”

“This is a delightful stay, comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Walkable (15-30 min walks) to a lot of the art museums and central ave shops and restaurants. The restaurant and cafe have great food at very reasonable prices. My only regret is that I didn’t make it to the pool bar. This place manages to find the balance between being buzzy and lively and quiet and private. I would absolutely stay here again.”
