“Can’t say enough for the hotel staff downstairs, very friendly and professional as you would expect at this type of hotel, however the room we stayed in (1201 A) the first thing we noticed when we walked in was how big (nice size), but then looking out at the beach the sliding door looked like dog slobber on kid slobber on the glass (probably still there) then it looks like it was recently painted and the from the looks (paint drippings on the floor) it seems to have been painted in a hurry with a brush and takes away from what that room should be. The shower floor looks like it hasn’t been cleaned or cleaned with the wrong cleaner( looks like soap) and takes away from what the room should be. Then the hot water went out during my shower mid soap. Called downstairs and they sent someone right away, and wouldn’t you know it it started working while he was there. However it did the same thing a couple of other times, but didn’t bother to call. Just left the water running until it got hot again (wast of Water). Let the front desk know at check out and they went right away and informed the manager, who took off pretty much a days parking (a little more) off the bill. I wasn’t looking for that, but just wanted to let them know before renting it out again. It’s also a very busy hotel and with that a lot of sand getting tracked into the elevator carpet. Pool looked clean and it has a really nice bar area with very nice people working there. These aren’t complaints, but just suggestions on small things that could make this a 5 star experience.”
