“The room was clean small room with the kitchen bathroom and all we needed for a short vacay. It did get hot in there wish there was another AC or a fan but we were not in there a lot during the day. The picture I saw of the blue building was across the street from the office where you check in.”
“We had a great experience. The owners are so kind. The place its self was very spacious for the two of us. Cool air, WiFi, tv. And the best part is the pool. I’d so much rather give my money to a family owned business that provides the same if not better friendly service than the others. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! We will be back.”
“If I could give 10 stars I would, this place is phenomenal! Red carpet customer service, snacks, drinks, pool and amazing garden. Came in to teach a seminar in Hollywood and would have loved to have stayed longer if I could have. Highly recommend!”

“Perfect beach vacay getaway! Quiet, family friendly, aesthetically beautiful. Close enough to all the music/action of the bandshell but far enough to enjoy the peace. My toddler loved saying hello to the resident kitty, Cheetah. Bonus, the taco shack next door is so delicious, and you get one free drink per guest from 6-7p as well as a discount for your meal. My mom was visiting from out of town for her birthday and they were so sweet to accommodate us and even had a surprise treat waiting for us at check in. We will be back for sure!”

“I’ve been visiting this place for over 10 years and it’s always been a favorite for me, my family, and friends. The live music and food are fantastic, and most of the staff are friendly and welcoming. However, there’s one employee—the guy who’s always walking around closing the place and moving boxes from side to side—who is consistently rude to customers. It’s disappointing because it takes away from the great atmosphere. I would have given 5 stars, but I’m giving 4 because of this issue. I hope management addresses it to keep the positive vibe we all love without canceling anyone.”

“I spent four days here during February (2026) and was not disappointed. The location, amenities (including a gym, rooftop pool, and hot tub), nearby restaurants, proximity to the boardwalk and beach, and the excellent service from all hotel staff made my retreat more than spectacular. “So far, so good. Clean, vallet parking. Be aware: the building is full with dogs. Almost every apartment has one or more dogs. Sometimes, you can hear barking several hours along.”
“We stayed there for about 11 weeks in summer 2019 and found it very nice for its price range. Sunshine Motel is cheaper than anything at the beachfront in the area while provides reasonably decent accommodation. The best thing is location, easy access to the beach, and not so many people on the beach (thanks to no public parkings). Neighbors (in the motel and around) are very quiet. Sometimes you can hear aircraft at Fort Lauderdale airport but it is never loud. And check the ocean at a clear night, it is so beautiful!”

“My family stayed here at Ocean Drive Villas for 4 nights and truly we felt like it was perfect for what we needed! It was cozy and clean.
The kitchenette with the fridge, microwave, stovetop and oven were very very useful for a family trip where you’re not wanting to eat out for every single meal.
It certainly is a beach goers vibe it’s not luxury but it is very accommodating and most lovely of all it’s a 1 minute direct walk to the beach. They offer beach chairs and towels upon request and parking for $20/day.
The staff were all VERY friendly and VERY helpful. Truly the reason they are getting 5 stars is because it was an all around perfect spot to stay for us, we travelled throughout Florida so coming back to a home base and being so close to the board walk was lovely.
Thank you, Ocean Drive! We will certainly be back.”
“Interesting Air B&B - 1 Block from Nick's on the broadwalk @ Hollywood Beach. The rate was ok. What was not ok was the management company, without prior authorization, took a $400.00 cleaning deposit. We left the unit spotless still waiting for our deposit to be cleared.”

“Pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean and we didn't have much co tact with staff but they seemed nice. Pool looked clean. Breakfast was a surprise. Actual food vs a continental style. I mean, it was typical hotel quality breakfast but it was good enough. They could do a better job of keeping the food/coffee stocked as there was a little wait. Overall id definitely stay here again.”

“Omg! We come to Hollywood once a month and look forward to our stay here. It’s really clean, they have several pools, kitchens in all the units I’ve stayed in.
The units are nicely updated and the service is extremely hospitable. They serve a breakfast but it’s mainly granola and hard boiled eggs, and coffee. Make sure to say hi to Ms. Donna she’s my favorite, and the front desk staff is so accommodating too! They’re all great!! Love how close it is to everything, the beach, food, the airport& not too expensive! Love love love this place!”

“I rarely leave reviews for motels or hotels but im here right now and it just makes me smile.
This is definitely not your chain motel or hotel you're not going to get the overly polished windows and fake smiles of staff that are trained to suffer through miserable people with to much money and time on their hands.
You are going to get staff that makes you smile just by being themselves, after a rough day of finding out your trapped in a state.
Your going to find a tiny statue of a frog or alligator peaking out from behind a potted plant. Your going to get a room that is cleaner then most 4 star chain hotels. You will get a parking spot unbelievably close to the door of your room. A pool that is not only beautifully clean has a waterfall. You get garden gnomes hanging out on the path to the room. Tiki statues every few corners.
Statues of different animals, a few neon signs and a comfortable bed, clean fridge stove oven and microwave.
Booking this motel was the only good choice I made for this trip and I couldn't have asked for more.
I spent about 2 hours photographing the fun and sending pictures to friends.
If you're looking for a budget friendly motel that is fun clean and quiet definitely pick here. I had so much fun last night walking around looking at everything and the bed is definitely comfortable and clean.
The gentlemen in the office who checked me in was wonderful and kind. Which I really appreciated after spending hours on the phone trying to sort out being stranded by the spirit closure.”
“Very clean. Great location for romantic getaway. Nicely appointed breakfast. Expect nasty staff, extra charges for everything. Questionable charges to your account. No disposable drinking cups or coffee cups or filters. Read the fine print carefully for what is provided as it's a bare room.”

“Right on the boardwalk and beach!
Rooms could use quite a bit of TLC. Ours didn’t have a proper light (had to rely on the bathroom and hallway lights). Oddly had a toaster and coffee maker but no coffee or filters. TV very outdated and basically didn’t work. Bed was fine.
Free WiFi and continental breakfast (just don’t show up too late as they run out of items and the line can get long). They can hold your luggage and provide kitchen boxes (dishes, mugs, pans, utensils). It’s part of Hollywood Beach Hotels conglomerate, which gives access to several pools of different temperatures.”

“I was in a last minute pinch for a room and with no time to find one- I found this place online and booked at a very decent price and the room was super clean and conveniently located right off 95.
