“Fitwize is my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
A safe space where my son does his homework, practices sports and plays with friends.
I highly recommend it!”
“Love Animal Aid and its staff. Everyone very nice, understanding and always willing to help. Ive been going to them for years now. Had all 4 of my cats spayed, neutered and vaccinated. Thank you Animal Aid Inc!!”
“Super attentive folks and really into it for the animals!!! We live in a highrise, so most of the dogs that fit our requirements are not available at shelters. They had a match our first visit, and we picked him up the next day.”
“My first impression at Latinos Salud has been very positive. The APRN Guillermo Navarro conducted the first interview in a kind and professional manner; he showed that he is not only technically knowledgeable, but also with the personal skills to made people feel comfortable. Luis, at the front desk was kind and friendly. Overall, a great first experience that made me feel at home.”

“If you are serious about quitting alcohol, then coming here is your first step. The people are friendly, they are nice, and their primary purpose is to help people who are suffering from alcoholism get better. Come and visit and you won't be disappointed. 5 ⭐”

“Nice view! One of the larger lodges we've visited. The bartenders are friendly and service was great. Remember, they are all volunteers working hard to keep the Lodge going!”
“We adopted Stormie (formerly Noel) from Abandoned Pet Rescue, and it was truly one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment we met her, the staff was kind, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure she found the right home — not just any home.
They were transparent about her background, answered all of our questions, and made the entire adoption process feel supportive and thoughtful. You can tell this organization truly cares about every animal that walks through their doors.
Stormie has brought so much love, laughter, and personality into our lives — and she now has a big sister, Hollie, who absolutely adores her. Watching them bond has been the greatest gift. We are forever grateful for the care Stormie received before becoming part of our family.
If you’re considering adoption, please start here — they are doing incredible work for these animals. ??”
“They staff was really nice and accommodating. They happily took the baby bunny rabbit who had been injured. They release all animal once they are well, providing They can live in the wild again. Donations are requested and gladly appreciated. Our donation was doubled by their matching program.”
“Brought my kitten here for a spay and they have honestly done such an amazing job, her incision is so small and healing really nicely to be 5 days old, she was back to herself in no time and seemed to have very minimal pain. I would recommend them to anyone, the process of making the appointment and paying was very easy as well”
“I wanted to try Tai Chi to relieve tension and to just do something for myself that involved movement. Lester is an awesome teacher for beginners. He makes you feel comfortable, explains everything fully and slowly. The facility is totally ‘zen’. It is not a crowded gym where they rush you out because they have another class right after yours. The staff makes you feel welcome and cared for. I will definitely be exploring the other classes and services that AcuMantras offers!”
“Beautiful and Happy farm indeed!! We had an amazing time with the animals! The people working there are very kind and helpful. We received a warm welcome and they made us feel like home. You can see that they really care about animals. We will repeat very soon!!!??????”
“Ever since 2017. You helped me with food and helped me a lot with my diet. I tell everyone that has Lupus they need to apply. You always treated me like a person. And that is special to me. Thank you.”
“I'm one of the Unhoused People who's path, almost daily, takes him into the Pride Center. There are days and times of day, the place is the only act in town.

“Such a great experience! I had the pleasure and opportunity to volunteer for my child's filth grade field trip to @jasouthflorida. It was so fun to see the kids experience real life work from working to getting paid and going to the bank and budgeting to have enough money for snacks and treats to take back home. This program is run by volunteers and donations. I really enjoyed it and recommend to participate and volunteer if you can. Definitely provide a quality of service to the community. Huge learning value for everyone involved.”
“Friendly. Service a lot of people with great food and it was great getting a basket to go home with. Mrs. Katie and her crew are awesome for the restless work of serving the community.”
“We found Adoption by Shepherd Care by chance, and had a zoom call with them a few days later. I found it very challenging to find an ethical, real agency in the sea of false advertisements out there. The world of adoption is scary and I had read so many horror stories of different scenarios, and we didn’t want to be another statistic like that. After the meeting we really liked them and decided to start our process with them. The adoption process is stressful, time consuming and frustrating, all emotions I shared more than once with them. And they took it all in stride, because years and years of experience under their belt helped them handle someone like me. Cause I’m not the easiest to handle sometimes. And I’m sure they will vouch that I am a talker and I am not afraid to share my true feelings. About a year and a half in, my husband and I started to feel very defeated. Then in October, I’m getting off the elevator heading back into my office and they ask to 3 way call with my husband, and for some reason I was obvious as to why. And it was THE CALL. We welcomed our son home in December and we finalize In June. Anmarie helped us in the beginning of the process with our paperwork, background checks, interviews, home visits, etc. Wonderful and personable and easy to talk to, always talked me down. Special thanks to Nidia too. Bayleigh in the Orlando area office helped us in person with our birth family who was in that area. She met us at lunch with them, walked us through everything, and when it came to baby time kept us updated as I was crying and stayed with our sweet mom until we drove 6+hrs to be with her. This is a great group of people who really care about this process. Could not recommend more!”
“The Coconut Creek Community Center is one of the best parts of living in Coconut Creek. We even have two centers. This is the one in the south end of the city. The first community center in the city was the Rowe Community Center. it was much smaller and no longer met the needs of the growing city so this center was built in 2004. The building is two stories and is very beautiful and well maintained.
The first floor of the center holds the reception desk, offices, meeting rooms, the senior center, bathrooms and a gymnasium. There is a large reception room with an attached kitchen. I rented it one year for my daughter's birthday party. It is also used for community meetings and voting. You can find all of the notices of upcoming events tacked to the bulletin board opposite the reception desk.
The second floor contains more meeting rooms and a game room that can be used by the public.
The community center hosts many events for the residents of the city for all ages. There are programs for kids, activities for seniors, sports teams, and classes. They hold a day camp every summer, after school programs, and provide child care to help parents when school is out. My daughter took dance classes, art classes, and attended many of the children's programs through the years. Later on she earned volunteer hours for high school by volunteering at the recreation programs. The recreation department does an incredible job of creating programs for the city. Everything they present is free or with a reasonable fee. People from outside the city can attend the programs put they have to pay extra to do so.
Outside the community center is a large park that contains two playgrounds and a newly refurbished basketball court. On any given night you will see families and kids riding bikes, playing basketball, and enjoying the playgrounds. There is a lake that separates the community center from Windmill Park. Once Windmill Park is reopened it will be a nice walk between the community center and the park that is getting a major make over. Outside there is also a band shell that hosts free concerts usually once a month and movies outside. On the East side of the property there is picturesque bridge that leads from the community center to the brand new fire station.
Through the years I have attended a lot of the community center programs. I have voted here and celebrated here. I have also made friends with the recreation staff who are some of the nicest people I know. The residents of Coconut Creek are fortunate to have such a great recreation staff and a beautiful building that houses all they have to offer.”
“I liked it. The day I came was beautiful, about 65 degrees and sunny, mid January - a staff member told me many of the animals were moved inside bc of the cold front the night before -- she offered to give me back the $5 you place into a box when arriving (based on honor system).
I was cool and walked around and enjoyed the peaceful meditative vibe.
Just sat on a bench and relaxed. There are some really cool owls and hawks here. The signage is weather worn but it is rustic and weathered, like most of the handicapped animals they keep here.
Good vibes.
Nothing super special but def chill..”
“I love out of the closet! On this day they were having a mega sale on a plethora of clothes in the parking lot, $2 per item. They do that every once in a while but they have the best men’s selection for a thrift store in the area. They have tons of selections especially for jeans and shirts, which are color coordinated, as well as books! It’s the best place to beef up your book collection for only $1 a book sometimes. They also have a pharmacy inside so you can shop.”

“It is okay. I used to love going there a lot. Times change life is busy and other stuff going on. I don’t have time to go there. I was thinking about entering another show but unfortunately when I email the staff about my past paintings I don’t get an answer. It’s okay no one wants to buy my art it’s not that great. I happy they entered me one year when I was new pass the due date. They were good to me I have changed my number due to a stalker and personal reasons but I still email them and nothing. As I stated it is okay no one wants to buy tell me what happened?”
“Have an awesome opportunity to meet a group of people that are really changing things for the community especially our youth thank you for allowing me the opportunity to volunteer and help make this site even better.”
“The family-like atmosphere is appreciated. The union takes care of the educators like no other. President Anna Fusco is someone who truly wants to improve things for the educators”
“Did a drive past through the park to check out. We plan to visit in the future. Took pictures of the beautiful horses from a newly constructed parking lot near the Atlantic Tradewinds railroad ride.”
“I live in the neighborhood and Handy gives every appearance of doing great work with the kids. I see them doing activities and playing sports. They provide a great energy! I’m happy they’re in my neighborhood.”
“The people are kind & whenever I donate or have a question (over the phone or during my donation) they’re very helpful & eager to answer anything. I definitely recommend donating to this organization & perhaps even donate your time volunteering for them if you have a chance.”
“Had a great time at the memorial, met alot of old friends and made some new ones. I want to thank Bullet & all the States for a great night it was I was never away..”
“BSS is more than a spirit center, it’s a place that allows you to have your own questions and opinions, they make sure you are thinking outside of the box and at the same time a place where you will quickly feel comfortable and welcome, and will find love and support for you and your family.
