“7 years ago I purchased a watch at a Fossil store located or formerly located in Aventura. I brought it back a week later because if it stopped working. They replaced the watch and a month later it stopped working. They changed the watch again, and 3 weeks later it stopped working. I worked in a well air conditioned office, I did not sweat with my watch on, I did not not swim with my watch, I did not wash my hands with my watch on. I did not engage in anything that could potentially damage this watch. The purchase of this timepiece meant a lot to me because it was the only thing that I had purchased in over a decade, as a present to myself at the start of new career. The last time I returned the watch 4th time, the retailer gave me a gift card a gift card that I have held on to for 7 years. Last week I looked at watches online, and decided which line of timepiece, I would purchase from the website. The issue was that I needed to physically see it on my wrist prior. On May 4th, I went to the Fossil outlet store only to put it on, to see and measure a watch the I wished to purchase online. I transparently and briefly explained why I was there only to measure and see the watch not to purchase it in store, and that this visit had been pending for 7 years. I was assisted by a professional young man by the name of Alfredo. He patiently guided me through the options, and let me try on any and every watch I wanted to. He provided great guidance and assistance without being pushy or overbearing. Totally professional. I cannot remember the last time I received such great service from someone of his generation. This is something that cannot be trained it is simply innate in the person, or not. 20 minutes later I walked out with the watch on my wrist. I have faith that this watch will last much longer then any of its predecessors. Thank you for this experience and hopefully closure to this journey in acquiring my timepiece. It looks and feels great.”
