2080 S Jefferson St, PerryThis is the best cup of coffee either of us ever had. We both have it committed to memory. My husband and I saw this place on our way out of town for a road trip. Since we had a motor home my husband had to park and walk up. But they have No real walk up window, he was standing in the drive through. We really wish Elianos would fix this challenge. Because we tried to stop on the way home after churches let out on Sunday and the drive through was backed up on both sides with no where for him to stand to order. Hands down best cup of coffee anywhere.

My husband and I knew we would be going through Perry about dinner time and decided we would stop here for a little BBQ, and we were both SO glad that we did. I’ll preface this review by saying that he and I both are BBQ snobs and can find a hundred ways to criticize pulled pork. None of them apply here. The pulled pork at this restaurant was so good that it didn’t really even need sauce. Three different kinds of sauces were available, though, and they were all good. There was a sweet, a slightly spicy, and a mustard based sauce. No vinegar based, though. The coleslaw was a mayonnaise based version that complemented the meal well, and the baked beans were great. I got sweet potato fries and my husband got the steak fries, both of which were tasty. Even the tea got passing marks. The BBQ serving was a nice large one with adequately sized sides.
Dining room was pleasant and clean with music just loud enough to enjoy but not hinder conversation. Full bar. Easy parking.
We’ll make this a regular stop when we come through Perry.
