MacDill Main Exchange is a large and well-stocked shopping center located on MacDill Air Force Base. It offers a wide variety of items, similar to Target, including clothes, electronics, household goods, jewelry, toiletries, and more. The exchange is known for its friendly and knowledgeable staff, including manager Joanne Scott, who is praised for her professionalism and care for veterans, seniors, and airmen. Customers appreciate the help they receive, especially when issues arise, such as problems with star cards. The exchange features a large shoe department, appliances, Yankee candles, and ample parking and checkout lanes. It is often compared to Macy's but with the benefit of tax-free shopping for military members. The store has a good selection of the latest technology, designer clothing and bags, luxury makeup brands, perfumes, and personal care items. Customers enjoy the clean and bright atmosphere, as well as the unique military brands and the wide selection of products. The store also includes a liquor store with frequent samples, shopping kiosks, and a Travel Center. Additionally, there are optical and dental services for military family members, making it a comprehensive shopping destination.
