“I rarely review a gas station, but I have to say I think this one is outstanding! I work overnights and going there has become part of my nightly routine. I go out of my way to go to this location (driving over from Busch blvd). They are always very clean (mens room is always immaculate), the coffee is good and the night staff are alway friendly. They always greet people as they come in and often make welcoming small talk when they can. Also they are ALWAYS doing something. I've never once seen them standing around BS-ing, which I appreciate. It's honestly the only gas station I can think of that I actually look forward to visiting.”

“As I pulled into the Shell station located at 8421 N. 56th in Temple Terrace, Florida, I was in desperate need of a pit stop. The combination of a long drive and a busy schedule had left me craving a pick-me-up, and I knew just the thing: a can of Monster Rehab tea and lemonade. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed when I scanned the shelves and came up blank. Not a single can of the revitalizing drink I was searching for.

But, I thought to myself, perhaps the restroom will be a redeeming factor. After all, a clean and well-maintained restroom can go a long way in making one's day. The Shell station did have one unisex restroom, and I was pleased to find it was spotless. The cleanliness was top-notch, and I appreciated the attention to detail. However, my enthusiasm was short-lived, as I soon discovered that the urinal refused to drain after flushing it. It was a bit of a letdown, to say the least. A plumber's expertise is definitely in order here, as this issue could potentially deter future customers.

Despite the restroom woes, I decided to grab a drink to quench my thirst. As previously mentioned, the Monster Rehab selection was nonexistent, so I had to settle for an Arizona brand watermelon drink. While it wasn't my first choice, the drink did manage to satiate my thirst.

Now, I'd like to commend the clerk on a job well done. The moment I entered the store, I was greeted with a warm smile and made eye contact. The friendly demeanor went a long way in making my experience more pleasant. It's always a pleasure to encounter service staff who genuinely seem to care about their customers.

In spite of the Shell station's shortcomings, particularly with regards to their Monster drink selection, I do recommend others shop here. The clerk's exceptional service and the clean restroom (minus the drainage issue) make it a decent place to stop and refuel. Perhaps, with a bit more attention to their beverage offerings and some TLC for the restroom, this Shell station could become a go-to destination for travelers and locals alike.

As I left the station, I couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. With a bit of tweaking, this Shell station could be a real gem. Until then, I'll be keeping an eye out for my beloved Monster Rehab tea and lemonade elsewhere. If you're in the area and find yourself in need of a pit stop, I encourage you to give this Shell station a try – just don't forget to use the restroom wisely.”

“Not a best place to gas but the avg. price of gas. The area is not the greatest. So hurry and get your gas. They do offer food item this does wide range and variety of items. Prices are reasonable compared to places. They have name brands and off brand. Service is not bad at all. Some time lines are little long. I do recommend coming here if you're close by.”

“Never thought I’d be recommending a gas station for food, but my niece swore the pizza was ‘so good’…and she was right! I was pleasantly surprised, first by the taste and second by the fact that they sell whole pizzas.

It was fresh, flavorful, and the employee was super attentive (which is rare at a gas station). The place was also clean, which made the experience even better. Definitely adding this to my quick weekend meal rotation!”
