“I want to give some special props to Gail and Z at this Shell station. Stopping for gas and convenience store items is usually just a quick in-and-out, but the way these two treat customers makes a real difference. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with a smile and treated me with genuine kindness. You can tell they take pride in their work and care about the people who come through the doors.
The store itself was clean, organized, and fully stocked — not just the basics like snacks and drinks, but little things that make a road trip or even a regular day a lot easier. The bathrooms were kept in good condition too, which isn’t something you can say about every gas station. Everything about the stop was smooth and hassle-free.
What stood out most though was Gail and Z going the extra mile. They didn’t just ring me up — they carried on a friendly conversation, asked if I found everything I needed, and made me feel welcome. That type of service makes this Shell more than just a gas station; it makes it a reliable spot where you know you’ll be treated right.
I’ve been to plenty of convenience stores and fuel stops where the staff barely look up from the register. Gail and Z are the opposite of that — respectful, upbeat, and genuinely helpful. They give this Shell location a great reputation. Next time I’m in the area, this is where I’ll stop, not just for gas, but because good people like them make the whole experience”

“Quick, convenient, and reasonably priced. Answered the phone and all my questions promptly and kindly. When arriving they took me in right away and within 20 minutes I was on my way with a freshly patched tire. Will be returning!”
“My husband & I used Miles as our mechanic about 30 years ago. They always gave us excellent service The only reason we stopped going to them was we started leasing our cars & all maintenance was covered at our dealership. Had to buy a second car recently. Took my car in yesterday for a break job I'm please to say the same quality service was given to us. Miles is a family owned shop. They are very professional & friendly. I would highly recommend Miles. They are good and most importantly they are honest. Never do unnecessary work. Glad to be back with you guys Mike & Todd. You guys rock.”
“Gas sold $.10 - $.20 cheaper than other gas station convenience stores. The only negative is having to wait for pump to open up as there are normally lines. Is it worth the extra time to save a few $$? I say yes unless you are in a hurry!”

Also I’ve lived in this area for many years, and I have a measurable difference when I think of the previous owners approach to customer service, care and the community. This is very different in the most enjoyable way.
Every experience is FAST cool and often funny?.. The coolers are SUPER COLD!!!! the varieties of items are endless.
And the price points on ALL items are in my opinion completely unmatched in the entire city of St.Pete!

I believe this new group of owners have they’re eyes and fingers on the pulse of its community first!!
Word on the stree is -that guy Monik- behind the counter, his catch phrase was soooo popular.. They opened a whole new convenience store right across the street, and named it…

“I stopped in to pick up a couple items there Is an employee her name is Angelique. What made her so special is that she's washing the front window (yuck job) yet she greeted me with a warm smile as I was walking in. I wanted a snack, She took the time to assist me. I settled on the breakfast croissant. She warmed it up for me. I didn't even have to ask.
And then I get my ring caught on my shirt. I'm struggling to untangle it. She came around the counter and helped me. Angelique made my experience at the store so Wonderful. She is the type of employee and person that makes you want to come back. Angelique you are the cats meow!!!”

“The cheapest gas in town, and great prices inside. I always get snacks and drinks when I stop by. Also, when the last hurricane went through, this was one of the only places that still had any gas. As others have said, the owner has a very no nonsense attitude, which some take as rude, but I think he's very efficient, and of course the other two guys are always friendly and go out of their way to remember your name, etc. Great store all around, one of the local gems.”

“I went back today and after advising the shift manager late last week I was accidentally double charged. I of course had the charges to show, and the shift manager remembered me and make this more then just right, she went above and beyond for the inconvenience. These guys are great at this store.”
“Fuel pump didn't give receipt ... Must have been out of paper. Also the fuel line doesn't expand which meant I had to turn my car around so that it reached my fuel door...not a biggie but more of an annoyance. It did have the best gas price in the area though which was pleasantly surprising.”
