“I’m new to the area and brought my GMC truck to the dealer to look at a squeak. Dealer said they didn’t hear a squeak but my brakes were out of spec and needed a $2,000 replacement. Curry heard the squeak, told me my brakes were well within spec, charged me a fair price for the examination and put grease on the ball joint to fix the squeak. This is my shop from now on.”

“I called Dave's Garage to see if he would inspect a used car that I was buying, and he was truly amazing for the whole process. Over the phone he told me everything that I should look out for during my initial test drive, and when I brought the car in to his shop he walked me through the whole inspection, even when it was on the lift. He made sure that I was able to see everything he was seeing, and he pointed out everything that I needed to pay attention to while I have the car. He only charged $50 for the half hour inspection, and at the end I asked him if there was anything that I should fix immediately. Instead of trying to upsell me, he told me the warning signs and said that I would probably be able to drive the car for another 30,000 miles before needing any repairs. Dave really went above and beyond. I'll definitely go to him if I have any issues, so long as my car can make it.If you can make it to him, you won't be let down. He really knows his stuff and he's a good man.”

Then the other shop said I must need new struts ($2500.00) Joe said not on a car with 60,000 miles, drove it a half block and knew the problem and fixed it for $250.00!! “My experience with Venice Auto Body is a must share, it's a once in a lifetime. After two years of waiting for a seat belt, I took my car to the dealership to have it installed, I was shocked at the price they quoted me for the installation. I searched for a local auto body, I called and spoke with George, he asked me to take the car in so that he could look at it, I met this kind and knowledgeable person and I knew he was the one to install my seatbelt. I didn't ask for a quote, he told me it would be less than $200 and I agreed, it was a fraction of the dealership's quote. I picked up the car the next day and the job was very well done, to my surprise, the invoice was half of what I expected. I was very grateful and thanked him many times. I am truly a lifetime customer of Venice Auto Body Inc.! Thank you AGAIN!”
“I made an appointment for my Lexus RX350 AC, which was not blowing cold air conditioning. Tim diagnosed the AC system. The valves for filling the AC system were leaking and low on Freon. Tim made the necessary repairs and filled the system with Freon, and tested the system. AC system is blowing Cold Air again. I asked if they could change the motor oil and filter? They accommodated me and took care of this and topped off all fluids, and filled the tires with air. The charges were very fair. The repairs were performed very well, and I use Tim's when I have another issue. I wholeheartedly recommend Tim's as honest and very good service technicians. Tom, Venice, FL”
