“I was in the market for an excellent condition, southern/rust free and well maintained Lexus GX 470 or LX 570 and found a 2005 GX 470 at Avalon Auto in GA via another online auto selling website several weeks ago. As I live in central PA, I was a little ambivalent about buying a car online/not FTF (first timer…). However, I think doing so is much more comfortable when dealing with a seller/business that presents the vehicle being sold in the manner they do at Avalon.. I worked with Adam/part-owner and Frank/sales rep. at Avalon… they are both seriously knowledgable enthusiasts for these particular brand/model of vehicles. I found the entire buying process to be seamless, timely, cordial, accommodating, and forthright/professional. I received my GX 470 quickly via open-transport and found its condition to be as it was described… there were no surprises.
I enjoyed the entire purchase process and I am absolutely satisfied with my GX… I am a very happy customer. Without hesitation, I would be happy to purchase another vehicle from Avalon Auto… very highly recommended.”

“As far as making the purchase process easy Salton Motor Cars is good. I came looking at the 2008 Toyota Solara Convertible since I was interested in it at the time.

The owner responds quickly and is very liberal with test drives. I was able to get a very good feel with the car the day I took it to inspection (drove it 30 minutes out since he had forgotten I planned for that day). The only downside was that the inspection revealed details about the car such as its need for big upcoming maintenance jobs which wasnt very obvious to me as a first time used car buyer.

The car was old though so I expected it would need some work. The reason for the 4 star however is that despite having “passed emissions” the car was still running codes for emissions related issues, which I discovered from the check engine light popping on during my drive back. I didnt see this light the first time I drove the car, meaning he cleared the code both times to hide the issue, which was pretty dishonest.

Be sure to stay on your guard with any purchase here, the service is good but it is still a used car dealership, so please take your planned purchase to a mechanic you trust for inspection!”

“First off, I do not write reviews, this might be the second one in my whole time on the net since the 90's. Also, I am super picky when I look for a car, I used to be a car detailer, as well as a mechanic, and a body man. So I have a super keen eye when hunting for a vehicle to purchase. I finally found one after about a month of intense shopping my local dealers. I called and let them know that I was interested in one of their vehicle. A very nice 2011 Volkswagen Jetta SE with a 2.5 Inline 5 cylinder and a Manual Transmission., very rare car. When I got there, on a cold day for Georgia, the car was already running waiting for me. I pulled up with a few friends and Majid was there with the key waiting. It was super clean, not covered up with "Tire Shine" all over everything like I see at other places. The interior and exterior were flawless, the engine compartment, clean as a whistle, no dress up. I was impressed with how well they took care on their vehicles. So me and one of my friends jumped in the car and took it for a spin. I went for about 20 minutes and the we headed back. We stopped at a Gas station and took a closer look at the vehicle and noticed that there was a new control arm on the car. Everything was in good order, so we headed back. When we got back, Majid introduced me to his brother, Ali, and I asked him about the car. I asked him about the control arm to be more to the point. He explained that when he got the car, the control arm bushings needed to be replaced, so he just replaced the whole control arm instead. Then, he pulled out a 7 or 8 page CarFax for the Jetta. It had one of the best service records I have ever seen, no wrecks, this thing was a local car, with over 33 Service Records, that's almost perfect. These guys obviously care about what they sell to other people. I had a good feeling, so I bought the car. I do not regret it one bit, this is a clean car and driving a manual again is allot of fun. If you are looking for a good car, that is not going to cost and arm and a leg, and works, go see Majid and Ali, they did right by me.”
