I think there might be skimmers in place here. I recently used a credit card to purchase gas at the pump, and a few days later someone was trying to use my credit card at a local Kroger for a few hundred dollars. My credit card company caught it as I only ever use this particular credit card for car-related purchases.

Highest prices in the area. Even worse is that you can not get your money back if you prepay for gas with a credit card and don’t end up pumping it all into your card. Was told that it just works that way and I couldn’t get my refund.
