“Having been a customer for four years and an employee for one, this place feels like an extension of home. It has all the beer you can drink and the snacks that you like, but more importantly, it has an owner and crew that care about you. It is a place that allows you to relax from school and is an essential supply depot for tailgates and parties. Rocky, Frankie, and Valerio are some of the best people on earth, and there wouldn't be an Athens without Jimbo's.”

“This is where I get my fuel from %90 of the time. It's always an easy process. I'm able to get a $1.00 off each time for regular and diesel fuel. This is possible because of the Kroger points for fuel as a bonus for shopping at Kroger. Can you dig it!”

“i mean... its quiktrip.... what could there be to say thats bad about quiktrip??? even the mopping robot makes ur day better..... if i was lost and in a strange place, and saw a quiktrip, id feel like i found a piece of home, and stop panicking. it's quiktrip; what more can i say?? never had a slightly subpar experience in the quiktrip. not once. it's quiktrip!!!!!”

“What is there to say other than Sam's Club Gas Stations know how to get it done quickly, efficiently, and at a much lower price than the surrounding gas stations. I love the fact that everyone is forced to enter and exit in the same direction; it truly makes the whole cluster of getting gas around 25 different cars a lot easier. I save enough money on gas to more than cover the cost of membership; let alone all the other savings realized at Sam's Club. If you drive a lot, join Sam's Club and enjoy the good, inexpensive gas.”

“James takes care of his customer's demands. He doesn't ever complain, he's given me a jump on my car and always fills my special requests. Vgo is my go to place.”

“The only place I go for gas! They are always cheaper than everyone else. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because unless you go early in the morning or later at night, it is ALWAYS crowded. Like people lined up at the pump crowded. The inside is never open early mornings anymore which sucks if you're paying with cash. Their food/drink items on the inside always look a little old and the drinks are never as cold as they should be. Other than that, it's a great go to for gas!”
3495 Atlanta Hwy, Athens GA 30606
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Chevron is hands down the number one stop in Athens, Georgia. The station is always clean, well-organized, and clearly run by people who care about how the place looks and operates. Everything from the pumps to the inside of the store is neat and easy to navigate, which makes stops quick and stress-free. Prices are fair and reasonable, especially for the area, and the overall experience is consistently smooth and reliable. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is the kind of gas station you want to stop at. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!”

“Cheap gas especially if you are an awards member. Id reccomend going here and Ingles. You'll save a lot on gas over time. On a side note the gas station is not in the Kroger parking lot. It's on a completely different area a couple of blocks away.”

“Good service, you can get in and out quick! I'm from a small town and it has that environment in the best way. Also the only place I've been that carries my favorite energy drink, so that's a big plus”

I always try to grab a biscuit here when I come back to town for any reason. I like this place for all it is, a hole in the wall, home town feeling, laid back joint. The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
