It is a place that allows you to relax from school and is an essential supply depot for tailgates and parties. Rocky, Frankie, and Valerio are some of the best people on earth, and there wouldn't be an Athens without Jimbo's.”
“Great food and very kind ladies run the place. Cat head biscuits with variety of meats tenderloin, steak , ham, bacon , egg …. Sometimes they even have homemade sausage! Great grits . They also serve lunch meat and 3 or a 4 item vegetable plate great fried chicken , bbq chicken , steak and graveyard, fried salmon, spaghetti. Great deviled eggs , homemade chicken salad, pimento cheese , egg salad . Good deserts all homemade and of course SWEET TEA like Grandma made … great food ! Clean facility .”

“Okay, five stars is admittedly on the high side but bread basket is where I learned about pork tenderloin biscuits with gravy and for this they deserve five stars.... I always try to grab a biscuit here when I come back to town for any reason. I like this place for all it is, a hole in the wall, home town feeling, laid back joint. I always seem to be headed somewhere and never sit to eat but you can and I imagine you will be entertained.”
“I guess I picked a good day to try a counter service biscuit. Last time I got a grab-n-go premade biscuit and it was just ok, but a coworker told me I should order at the counter. I asked the worker what I need to order today, and he (David) asked what looked good in front of me right now and what I normally order elsewhere. Then he said oh I got you, you’re gonna like this! He made a fried pork loin (what I pointed at) biscuit with bacon egg, cheese, and a little bit of gravy on it! He said “this one is a masterpiece, you’ll be back tomorrow.” It was really good! I just might be back tomorrow, if I can work off those calories. Thanks David! A little charm and pride in your work are rare and not expected in food service these days.”

“We usually stop at the store so we can get a little gas. This time my friend needed a new vape and they sell them so we were there might as well customer service is pretty good just hard to understand them. My friend bought a smokeless vape which we did not know existed, and obviously neither did the salesman until he read it after the fact. My friend did not like it and wanted to change it right away. He went back there to help her and when he realized the box for free, he almost said no, but since he was back there, and we kind of wouldn’t leave, he decided to trade it for her. Very glad he made that decision because we will go back.”
“Levarious (please forgive me if i misspelled), an employee working at the time when my car battery died, and eric (not sure if he works there but he gets credit too) were so kind and went out of their way to help me get my car battery charged and my car up and running... even taught me a few things about what to watch for when my car starts acting up like that. thank you!!!”
