“Tom James is the “gold” standard when it comes to custom clothiers!! They will do everything to make sure you are happy with your purchase - even returning if the piece needs to be altered. I especially love my stylist/tailor - Shayan Peacock who is always styling! I look forward to our appointments and the new styles and fabrics she has personally selected for me! Shayan’s knows what I love to wear and has pushed me out of my comfort zone on some items! I usually will order what she is wearing because she looks so fly! “Came to their shop on Saturday looking for a dress last minute for a Gala. The front desk associate was super patient and picked out several beautiful gowns to try on. They had options in an array of colors and I ended up choosing this beautiful velvet gown. It did not disappoint . I received compliments all night long. Also, they had a sale which was nice.”

It is low impact, increases your strength, develops tone, and it's a great cardiovascular workout. “I visited this store with a friend today and we just loved it. We were interested in this particular store because they sell local artists products. We were greeted immediately when we walked in the door. After introductions and being told about sale items we talked a little about my favorite art, needle felting. I am so appreciative that this store exists, and has been around for years, showcasing local artists. I would love to see this duplicated closer to home. Meanwhile I hope to have a space of my own in this store next year.”

I came in for a birthday suit idea and didn’t know what I really wanted, so Robert measured me, suggested a jacket fit and some pants to go along with it. I tried on the pants and got them tailored with the team within 1hr same day. It was just about time for them to close and the tailor team left for the day but Robert found my pants and I walked out the happiest customer right before my birthday dinner tonight. K&G will continue to get my business I assure you.”

“Yup, it's a box lunch, this location feels more cramped then it's sister stores in other malls across the state(s) but they do carry a large selection of items from toys to appeal to utensils like ramen bowls. Staff is very nice, store is very clean if not a little cramped, I wouldn't call it cluttered but everything is packed right into this store”
“Victoria was fabulous!!! I was in Anthropologie shopping for shoes when Victoria noticed I needed help. She not only listened to my ideas and what I know about my sizes, but she made subtle suggestions of her own. I appreciated this because I felt heard as the shopper and helped! I ended up following her lead and went with the size she pulled for me. She was helpful, knowledgeable and very comfortable to work with!”
“I have shopped at both Akira stores in Atlanta Georgia. I absolutely love the clothes. I do realize that they have stylist who apparently make commissions and there are some employees who have the demeanor that if you're not spending a lot of ? money, they cannot be bothered. That I do not like. Every customer regardless of what they spend should be treated kindly and made to feel welcome. I met Jhalen at the Perimeter Mall location and he immediately made me feel welcome and presented himself as if I were THE CUSTOMER when I walked in. Very bubbly and warm, he assisted me with such warmness and kindness even while assisting others and being pulled to and fro. Imagine my pleasant surprise to find him at your Cumberland Mall location when I went the other day. I shop Akira often (Actually a recovering shopaholic ??) I was excited to see him as I bought a friend who has never shopped Akira. As usual he had the same beautiful spirit and light and though the store was jam packed, he took the time to keep checking on me and to ensure my picks were placed securely behind the counter. Again, I am an avid shopper and my number 1 pet peeve is unprofessional, mean or sales associates with the balled up look across their faces. Akira still has a few employees who have an air about them and if they detect the can't squeeze a dollar out you, they don't want to talk to you, sometimes unknowingly make it apparent (they need work or another job), so I LOOK for Jhalen. His personality and his genuine shines thorough and THAT keeps me coming back.”
“The most funkalicious store I've ever been to. If you want vintage clothing, nifty gift ideas, or find unusual items - this store has them. I mean, where else could you find fuzzy, googly eyes, platform boots? It's located in Atlanta's little 5 points area, known as the "hippest" neighborhood. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this store today.”
“I’ll never shop anywhere else for boots again. Tecovas truly went beyond my expectations and I’ve been forever changed! I worked with Mary Gray at the Atlanta location and can’t say enough good things about her. She was helpful, honest and very down to earth. It was like shopping with a friend. I purchased the Annie boots and had them branded (which Mary Gray did herself) and also stretched in store. I wore them to a concert the next day and received so many compliments but the best part is they were SO comfortable. I did a TON of walking that night + standing + dancing and my feet didn’t pay the price. The customer service at this store is truly what makes the experience so great. I’ll refer people here forever and will always come here for my boot needs. Tecovas truly sets the bar off the charts. Thank you for such a great experience!”

“This is my daughter's fave place. She's a teen (15 y.o.) so she's in that Lolita/Emo/Anime stage. I take her there to use her allowance money on accessories, few t-shirt, and limited clothing...I have to monitor this process so she doesn't get anything too demonic, salacious, or just out there. Hot Topics reminds me of Spencer's, the trendy teen shop way back when I was her age.”
“I absolutely am so grateful for the two associates that helped me find the perfect size for me. I had been wearing a 38H and was able to get the best and most comfortable bras in a 40I. I needed a strapless bra for a wedding I had the next day and I was truly discouraged about whether I would find the right bra size and the ladies that helped me searched extremely hard to find my size in a full coverage and strapless bra!!! I was so happy I could have cried.”

“I came across Keena Bella at a recent Color Purple screening event that Keen Bella was part of and although I did not win the gift card raffle giveaway that took place, I found my experience going in the store to be great. The owner who is from Barbados is very nice, and for me coming in with my daughters who actually love her shop, and they are 10 and 11, made all the difference. The fact the store has sleep-ware for men too, is a big plus. I recommend this store and definitely getting something there for my wife.”
