Build-A-Bear Workshop Augusta offers a unique experience where customers can create their own plush toy by adding outfits, sounds, and scents. A special feature allows for a custom voice recording to be added to any plush, and the store hosts PAWsome parties for birthdays, office events, or community gatherings. These parties provide hands-on fun, a customized furry friend, a Special Heart ceremony, and games.
Reviews highlight that the experience is fun, memorable, and very affordable for any party occasion, described as the BEST and very organized even with many children. Customers celebrate the staff, who are repeatedly praised as wonderful, helpful, patient, caring, personable, and knowledgeable. Employees are noted for going above and beyond, assisting with special requests like adding a heartbeat sound to a memorial bear or helping those with sensory issues find items with a good feel. They handle busy rushes with great skill. The store also accommodates different needs, offering a quiet hour for those who may feel overwhelmed. While there is no dedicated party room, reviewers confirm this does not detract from the excellent experience. The overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with customers strongly recommending a visit.
Sherrod made sure that our experience was amazing! Even when we did our recording him and his team made sure it was silent for us to do the recording! So thankful for him and his team that was there today!
