“Today I witnessed incredible service from two employees: Liam and Jess at Augusta Mall’s Hot Topic. I had an issue with my store pick up order of my Gangle and Zooble plushie as I was hoping they’d be there in time before my trip to Washington DC. Liam and Jess came in to the rescue with their accommodating requests of getting a Zooble and Gangle plushie that’s already in store and cancelling the order as Liam checked on my order which was clarified to not make it in time. I thank both of them SO SO much for their cooperation, kindness, and overall their vibrant energy that they bring in the room every time I come in store. They’re amazing employees and deserve great amounts of praise. If you’re seeing this Liam and Jess, thank you for everything and I don’t regret coming to Hot Topic so many times.”

“I went in to return an item; I did not realize it was a final sale. The lady that initially assisted me was delightful, but she had to call over the manager for this request. She was abrupt and pointed out that this item was a final sale alone with every item of my receipt. I brought in only one item. I thought that was interesting. I have shopped Talbots online for years. I had not been in the local store for many years, and guess what? This incident will stop my return to the store.”

“I was in the store today to pick up an online order and Paige was so incredibly helpful and kind!! You have a customer for life, Boxlunch! For context, my husband had ordered me my first Loungefly for my Christmas gift this year, but the website said there was only one left, and I was so anxious to pick up my beautiful Christmas gift that I didn't wait until I got the email, my husband and I drove straight to the mall hoping it would come through on the drive. It did not. When I asked at the register I was told that there is a bit of a delay and the invoice for the item had not been sent yet. The employee helping us, Paige, went onto the floor with us to see if the item was still there and sure enough it was! The last one! Paige told us that there was nothing she could do until the order came through and she would be looking for the order and would notify us immediately as soon as it came. I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed...I was seriously hoping to NOT have to come back to the MALL the week before Christmas, however I didnt wait for the email and I've worked in retail and I understand that rules are rules. So my husband and I left and headed to the exit. We were about 200 yards from the store when my husband heard someone calling our name. It was Paige, who saw that the order had come through just then and we were able to pick it up NOW. I was so excited!!! Boxlunch, you have a customer for life because of your employee Paige!! I am so grateful...she did not have to try and catch us before we left but she chose to be awesome and she not only made my day, she made my Christmas. I'm so excited to have my first Loungefly under the tree, thank you Paige!!!”

“This boutique is behind Applebee's on Washington Road. It sits on the left next to the Chinese massage parlor. I was greeted quickly by the associate working. I gave them a head's up that I would be coming that day because I saw them post a beautiful distress denim skirt on Facebook and I actually bought that exact skirt. When you walk in the straight sizes are on the left and the plus sizes are on the right. The associate working explained this to me and the sales items were to the back. There is a dressing room in the back to the left. I did try the skirt on to make sure it fit properly and it did. Check out was a breeze. The associate thanked me for coming and told me to come back and I told her I definitely will be back. I can't wait to see what type of clothing they have for the cooler months. I really enjoyed shopping here!!!! I glad I was able to finally get to check them out. Even though I don't need any more clothes I can't wait to see what else I can add to my wardrobe!!!”

“I had my 100th class today! If I can do it, anyone can. I was surprised with doting accolades, mimosas, a hand written card, socks and writing my name on the bar! I’ve been attending for over two years; usually 1x per week. On occasion I buy extra packages and attend more frequently. It’s a special place where I’ve made new friends and run in to old friends all the time. The positive environment and the time to release pent up stress through exercise helps me sail through many challenging days teaching school. My balance, coordination, endurance, flexibility, and strength had all become noticeably weaker as I entered my mid 40s. I feel like I’m 30 again! Every instructor is great.”
