“I love DG so much. I have my fav stores and the people work hard. I have done this type of work so I know what I am talking about. If DG would have teams that all they did was stock after the store closes do so many stores a night. That would free up the regular staff to clean the store and take real pride in their work. There is way to much work for 1 or 2 people to stock, clean, take care of customers. This is why DG has so much turnover.”
“We are lucky enough to live down the road from this little out of the way place and we are grateful that they are nice and clean and have a good selection of American as well as really good Chinese food. They are quick at making it also. They even have their sons working there and they are nice as well.”

“In the 3 - 4 years that I have known the owner, this store has NEVER been dirty. He takes great pride in his business. There are times due to customers that the bathroom might get dirty. But once informed, it is immediately taken care of.As well, if you're bothered by a customer begging on the outside, let them know and they take care of it.This is one of the best convenience stores in the area.The professional staff employed are always checking dates , dusting shelves, sweeping and mopping. For a store of this caliber in this area it is immaculate.I applaud the owner and staff for the pride, great customer service and the integrity under which they operate.Thank you Alto Grocery for your dedication and comittement to our community.Continued success in business.”
“Got some solid breakfast here today. Busy, clean tienda. Offered a chorizo and huevos taco that was great. Their salsa verde had a great kick. sauteed onions on the tacos and a fried serrano were a plus too. Will return!”
“First time and was amazed at how spacious and organized everything was. Especially all the dairy, like cheese and butter and the deli meats and so forth was enclosed. “If you don't have an Ingles card you must get .. otherwise prices are way high. Fuel points do not work with fleet fuel cards sadly. I use 25 gal. Of fuel a day and card will not work.”

“Everyone there is pretty much friendly but there is one lady I think her name is Marie who is absolutely amazing and has bonded with me and my daughter there is another lady name Sheila although I haven't seen her lately who is absolutely amazing as well they both always have great customer service”

“My husband and I were house/dog sitting for friends and we were both a little under the weather so I didn't want to have to drive to Cornelia or Gainesville for dinner. I stopped in at Lula Grocery to see if they had ground beef for a quick dinner fix. I was surprised that this little gem also had fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onions & potatoes. They also had a little grill in the back that made fresh take out, chicken and Hunt's Brothers Pizza. I couldn't pass it up so I got a pizza to go as well. The workers were all very friendly and helpful. I was quite impressed. I would definitely recommend it. The pizza was hot and tasty. Thank you!”

“I like the Dollar General stores, I'm not walking a mile to find what I need and get out. The staff were super friendly and the store was more or less well stocked with only a few items being out of stock and the staff working to stock the shelves while I was there.”

So disappointed in my local DG here in Hollywood ga they need better management and nicer employees old baldly acts like he's got somewhere better to be. And shelves stay empty”

“It's amazing how I find that I need things when I'm on the road in the Sprinter van. Today, it was bottled water and a screwdriver. A strange combination but Walmart carries both and I also took advantage of the restroom while I was here. The store was in good condition compared to other Walmarts I've patronized, with very few carts loose in the parking lot and most aisles well stocked. I was actually greeted when I walked into the store and this was almost shocking. Restroom was clean and stocked. I had no issue finding what I needed and paying for it. “Staff is friendly and helpful! I love this store because it’s close to my house and they usually have anything I need. Store is clean but I can tell the staff is doing the job of at least two people. They could use some help! I’m in there all the time. Cashier shouldn’t have to work all over the store! Let cashier do her job! Hire some stock boys!”
