If you ever find yourself near Vogel State Park, be sure you find Sunrise Grocery. From the authentic handmade old-time candies, handmade gifts or Jason's boiled peanuts, you won't be disappointed. It's a tall statement I know, but Jason has THE BEST boiled peanuts I've ever had anywhere.

Greatest customer service you've ever had. Beautiful pictures for sale in the back as well from great local photographers. Just ask about them! Try the local homemade preserve for sale!
Welcome to Sunrise Grocery & River Cabins!
Sunrise Grocery & River Cabins is the oldest family-owned general store in Blairsville, having opened in 1920. We are famous for our boiled peanuts and were nominated by Southern Living Magazine for "the South's most charming general store" last year. We have a variety of local products, ranging from candies, jams, handmade pottery, and candles to soap, apparel, sorghum syrup, and honey. And, of course, we have normal produce and staples, including bread, milk, ice cream, and beverages.
We also manage check-ins for Sunrise Cabins: our pet-friendly riverside and mountainside cottages. Room enough for two to six guests, with fireplaces, full kitchens, and more!
