“They have a good selection, and a great gun dept. Bob at the firearms counter is a family friend and has been hunting and into firearms all his life and probably has more knowledge than the other gun shops in town. The only problem with Academy is the ridiculous checkout line. Its always a long wait and they refuse to work more than 2 cashiers at a time and the ones that are there are always slow.”
“The manager was awesome and very helpful. We had ordered some stuff online and they sent us the wrong item. So we brought it in to swap it for something else. The item we returned rang up $15 cheaper than what we paid for it. I thought it was going to be a problem, but the manager fixed it so we could get the full value that we paid.”

“Great place, not much variety in sizes, noted that for ladies stuff runs to eleven, mostly. And down to six. Wide width, is not common. However nice customer service, great people. There is a clearance room, it's a great place on some days. Both men And women have a selection of shoes And accessories are limited for formal wear for ladies, but great casual And fitness options. The store set up is pleasant, and there is wheelchair access.”
