“My washing machine went out a few weeks ago, and we’d been stressing over how we were going to afford another one. We were about to buy something way out of our budget, so I decided to call around for used options. I called Smith Brothers and asked if they sold used washing machines. The woman on the phone said they didn’t, and we ended the call. Not even a minute later, she called me back and asked if I still needed a washer. I told her yes, and she explained that they had picked one up from a customer who was upgrading to new appliances. There was nothing wrong with it, and she offered to give it to me..for free. I was honestly shocked and asked if she really meant it. She did. She wished me a Happy Thanksgiving and told me it was mine. My husband picked it up right away, and it has been working perfectly. We were genuinely in a tough spot financially, and their kindness made such a huge difference for us. I couldn’t be more grateful.
