“One of my headlights went out while I was on my way home from work. I knew this location was on my route home, so decided to take a quick stop to get my bulbs replaced. I’ll admit, I’m not a car guy. Or a machine guy at all for that matter. Animals and nature make sense to me, not mechanics, so I always get a bit nervous when dealing with car troubles.
When I showed up I noticed there were 4 people ahead of me in line. I popped my hood and tried to snag the bulb myself, but had a hard time finding it. Defeated, I finally joined the line. I was trying to look up what kind of bulb I would need, when I noticed that this location was supposed to close in 20 minutes. I got really nervous because I don’t like to be the guy giving employees too much extra work when they’re just trying to go home. But I needed this bulb fixed and figured it shouldn’t take too long.
When Erica (assistant manager) called me forward to the register, I explained my situation to the best of my ability. She started asking me questions like what kind of engine I have and which bulbs were out and all sorts of stuff I just didn’t know the answer to. Eventually she just came out to my car to take a look at what we were working with. She took the time to show me how to get the bulbs out of my headlights (which I’ll admit was probably a bit of a pain in the butt considering I drive a fiat and those things are super compact) told me about how you’re not supposed to touch the sides with bare hands cause the oils can break them, and was overall super patient with me.
She helped me pick out some bulbs (I was looking for something a bit brighter and longer lasting than my last set so I went with some lower-end LEDs) and helped make sure they fit back in my car and everything. Overall it was a super positive and informative experience, and Erica was very kind and patient.
Erica, I can promise you that I will likely forget everything you taught me today by the time I need to get my bulbs changed again. I just hope that the next time I need help with them I have an experience like this with whoever has to help me that day. Thank you.”
“We called just to see if they had an adapter, they did. And when they saw us pull up, had the part waiting on the counter.To be fair, we called about a 7-slot to 4 plug adapter for a sub to uhaul trailer, so he did have a hint it was us. But he was still on top of things.Friendly people as well.”
